Please give us an option to skip completed campaigns.
Bungie, you have been doing an insane job as of late but I still do not understand one thing. I don't see why we have to play through the story we have already played just because we are on a new character. It saps so many hours of time and with sunsetting most of the gear is worthless. Please just give us an option to sync progress across characters if we want to. I dont even care if you charge me for it, I think 10 quid is a reasonable amount to pay to save hours of my time.
It just seems like such a common sense fix to a problem players have complained about, are there any limitations preventing the implementation of this? Or is it just there to drag out play time?

1 ReplyPerhaps share the progress for all EXISTING characters at the time of the first play though? That I don't mind, but yeah no other way to stop people spamming the delete, redo, rinse and repeat power farming.

Or is it just there to drag out play time?[/quote] Didn’t they just do that with the new season? I main a titan and started the new season. First the cut scene, then the season campaign. When I switched to my other characters, they just booted in. No story, no cut scene, no campaign. Am I missing something or is this a glitch?

I'm still trying to understand why after 7 years my guardian is still not at max level. How many boring -blam!- times do I need to do it.

This is what stopped me from making a new charakter I loved creating a new char in d1 cause the mission where short and easy to rush trough but still had its uniqe vibes where u just could stand still at one location and enjoy the landscape. Sure D2 have it too but its way to colorfull and bright. Even the darkness mission dosent give me the same vibes i had in D1

6 RepliesThat would cause issues with certain gear and missions that require you to play through that dlc though. For example there was a guy posting on here screaming and crying that he was grinding lost sectors but never got the exotic he wanted. Turns out he hadn’t played shadowkeep to unlock it so it wasn’t in the world pool. Would they just put that gear in the world drop pool?

Yes. Replaying the entire story of shadowkeep, forsaken, beyond light on all 3 characters sucks and torture.

The option for the main campaign should be a thing though im happy to run it on all 3 characters, seasonal story however should be account bound, especialy if it locks you out of an activity

Skipping it would b amazing cos it could let players avoid few bugs (like decrypting darkness). But so far, bungie is that lazy to fix that little bug, that option which would give players some nice quality of life improv will take them another 2 years, or probly more (looking at that kinetic ammo)
