Destiny two crashing on PC post update.
As the title says. I've had two crashes since the update today. Just letting you know.

2 RepliesSame here. Game was fine before SoL and never crashed. 5 mins into the game and then freezes and just kicking me to the desktop without error or crash message. Redownloaded the game. Checked game cache files. Updated drivers. Played other games and had no crashes in them. i7 11700f 3080 ti 32gb

2 RepliesHappening to me, too. I've played twice today and it's happened twice. However, there's been a similarity both times. When this happens, it happens pretty soon into me playing. The first time was shortly into the new season's starting mission and the second time was shortly after I landed on Europa. I know two is a very low case count, but both times it happened shortly after starting an activity, it frozen and then CTD'd, and had no error code. Not sure why, though. Maybe the game is trying to find an asset that it can't locate or something.

I have the same problem. I actually cannot play the game at the moment. It crashes every single time after about 5 minutes. I hope they fix this within 1 or 2 days and not on the next reset...

[u] [b]Setting the BESERVICE.exe as a whitelist or allow list should fix some of people freezes.[/b] [/u]

I don't know if this helps, but in my case, after a few crashes to the desktop, I realized that it crashes the same way it did when I had the preview version of Windows. It has something to do with the text input method. Maybe someone was just typing something in chat at the time.After swapping the c:\windows\system32\textinputframework.dll file from the original version of the system the problem stopped, I played for over 2 hours without a crash.

2 RepliesSimilar issues for me. Basically every 3 - 5 minutes I crash to desktop now since season of the lost. First 4 - 5 hours were flawless. Curious is anyone else here seeing the following errors in Windows Event viewer too? Faulting application name: bad_module_info, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000 My specs are: CPU - Ryzen 9 5900x GPU - RTX 3080 RAM - 32 GB 3600MHz Storage - Destiny running on Samsung EVO 860 SATA SSD OS - Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 21H1

Usually crashes about ten minutes in. From game launch, I go into override, I get past the first unlock sequence, and the game freezes. Audio comes in fine, can see windows in alt-tab but can't select them, ctrl+alt+del is never responsive. Ram usage is 75-80% at crash, CPU at about 80-90%, GPU not notable (vsync at 60 FPS). 1660Ti 6GB i5-9400F @3.9 8GB RAM No error codes. Hope to see a fix for it soon. Hope even more to see play-testing to prevent situations like this in the future.

Same here. Tried verifying the files, and updating drivers, still crash about 5 mins into the first mission or being in the tower

I've gotten them in Season of the Splicer, but thats been a sort of once in a few days type of thing. This season (so today so far), I've crashed 3 times and they've all happened with no error code which makes this frustrating. I've tried: -verifying the integrity of the game -reinstalling the game -clean installing my video drivers -turning off all overlay apps -making it a high priority on task manager -making it the only app running on my task bar -deactivating low latency -i cleared cache -turned off the cache thing in nvidia control panel -cleared directx cache I also get a lot of fps drops and when the game crashes, it was always happening after an fps drop.

Been crashing weirdly enough in Crucible. I'll load in and it'll either hang for a few seconds and crash or randomly if I'm able to get into a match. Works fine elsewhere it seems Specs: OS: W10 GPU: RTX 2060 Super 8GB CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-Core Processor 3.8 ghz RAM: 16 Gigs Ram

I also had this exact issue. The PC solution, at least for those with Nvidia cards, seems to be updating your graphics drivers, since there appears to be a driver update that I was not notified of by my computer.

I'm sure theres more than enough data to troubleshoot, but I'm having the same issue, After loading in the game runs perfectly for about 2 minutes and then hangs for about 15-20 seconds and then just exits, no error code or anything just straight to desktop. Tried fresh drivers, all windows updates, deleting shaders and disabling them as well. Admin and disable fullscreen optimizations. very strange. 9900k 3080

had a freeze on me when I went to the store page. Music playing, had to go into task manage and shut it down, it rebooted steam.

Update: I was aware that wasn't using the very latest driver from nVidia so updated my driver from 471.41 to 471.68. And what should I say, I just finished an one hour session without any crash. So maybe this is a solution for some folks :)
