Look bungie, some of us have lives and work 40hrs a week. So please stop forcing us to play PVP. I have never played destiny for the PVP aspect of it bc ppl are just too sweaty out there (especially in trials) and it frustrates me to the point of stopping playing D2 entirely when you force us to go play trashy game modes like trials just to complete all our seasonal objectives.
I NEVER want to play PVP in this game and I suspect I'm not alone.

1 ReplyI hate gambit because it’s gambit as well as normal strikes because they are to easy. But I will play both if there is a reward I want. When python came out I played gambit. I don’t need much more for dredged title but I don’t care for it. Basically I’m not expecting the game to cater to me, the raids are dull once you learn them and the only real challenge is putting a team together and explaining what to do in a encounter despite posting a kwtd lfg post.

14 RepliesEdited by Inclement Karma: 8/24/2021 2:22:53 AMA presumable adult with a full-time job should know better than to think a video game is forcing him to do anything. Or to whine about it in all caps on the internet. If you want the seasonal challenges, do them. They always require playing every aspect of the game. If PvP isn’t your thing, don’t do those challenges. Making choices like that is basically what it means to be an adult. Edit: pwned by autocorrect

Then I don't want to play pve

7 RepliesYour job has nothing to do with the game. You don't want to play PVP don't. Just don't expect to gain the things that require it and you have no issues. The game asks for all aspects, and you aren't forced to do anything. That's not going to change.

You're gonna be disappointed in a few hours.

Edited by A_mo: 8/24/2021 2:13:16 AMYou don't even have to play trials to hit the goal for seasonal objectives. Also, what in the world does your job have to do with playing PvP that it doesn't have to do with PvE?

You can skip the trials challenge fortunately and still get the master of all challenge complete. I skipped it.

4 RepliesEdited by Sweet Lew 88: 8/23/2021 10:52:35 PMSince Bungie has pushed all parts of the game for 7 years, I would keep expecting it. Why buy a game that constantly forces PvP if you don't enjoy it..... At least most of the challenges are doable by many players. Only the last word has negative progression, but still doable, all of the others, you can't fail, eventually almost anyone can do them. Bungie made these quests easier, back when invective and thorn came out in D1, you actually had to have skill to finish them, we are in casual easy mode now.... Bungie can't design games for everyone, they need to develop them for their prime demographic, I'm guessing 14-25 year olds, people with no family or a career. Maybe you can find a casual game if this one is too hardcore?
