Why does "Find Fireteam" in bungie.net only supports so limited amount of languages? I speak and understand English well but it sometimes really hard to understand people who speak English natively, looking at you UK and Ireland. Nothing beats playing with people who speaks in your native language. That is why I hardly ever use fireteam search. I like to use it lot more but my native language Finnish is not in the list. You don't have to translate bungie.net just use larger selection of languages when it comes to fireteam language.

It's ok, most of the ppl I come across on lfg that have English as their first language can barely speak it properly!

2 RepliesI guess you could say the select was never Finnish-ed

No yeah that is a issue for you and should get sorted. Just don't be offended if I hear someone speaking swedish, Norwegian, Finnish ect... And I suddenly pretend to be the Swedish chef.

1 ReplyDifferent parts of the country have different accents. Pretty common in countries with big populations. I agree that bungie should let you select your native language but there's one problem. I've been playing destiny since launch, out of the 100s of people I've played with, only like 5 haven't been British or American. So if you want play with people from Finland, just how popular is the game in Finland? Then how many of those players already have teams? In fact, I'd like to see bungie publish the player count from each nation.

Some British dude in an LFG team asked me when I joined if I could run "sesschall". I was like....run what? Turns out he wanted me to run Celestial Nighthawk. Aside from the fact I couldn't understand what the hell he was saying, who doesn't just call it Nighthawk?

1 ReplyGood Point. Any why is Find Fireteam not in the game to begin with? Are you using Discord to find Finish players? It discourages me to have to use Bungie.net and Discord to raid on PC, features that should be in the main game.

1 ReplyMaybe just write the LFG post in your native language and specify that’s the language for comms? I know it’s got to suck, but there’s got to be a way to get your point across.

2 RepliesEnglish tends to be the lingua franca for gamers and also probably due to not many Finnish people play destiny .
-
Because Destiny has a limited player pool, and including every language would lead to lots of empty lobbies.

2 RepliesLol, you want more languages but don't mention what language you want...
