Hi,
So after trying to get some solutions from the Steam community I'm trying to get some more answers and help over here since none of the solutions given to me seem to work.
I've linked the Steam post I've made so you can take a look of what solutions were given to me.
Basically the game freezes for an approximate of 5 seconds every 10 to 20 seconds which is impossible to play with. How can I fix it?
My PC: Windows 10 x64; AMD Ryzen 5 3500X - 6-Core 3.60GHz, 4.10GHz Turbo - 32MB L3 Cache Processor; 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4/3200mhz Dual Channel Memory; 1TB Seagate BarraCuda SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 7200RPM Hard Drive; Motherboard MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX: M-ATX w/ RGB, USB 3.1, SATA3, 1x M.2; GPU Radeon RX 580 Series
Thanks in advance.

Didn't do the virtual memory thing in the end. For some reason the game started working normally without me doing anything really. All of my services and startup items were enabled execpt Origin and Overwolf launchers that I disabled, even though I highly doubt that was the reason...

4 RepliesEdited by SmirkingViper: 8/20/2021 2:10:31 PMSo I tried doing a clean boot and, good news, the game worked! After searching after every services and startup items I had, I'm almost positive that Battle.net is causing the lags.. which I don't understand since Destiny 2 ain't linked to it anymore. I tried playing the game with all of my services and startup items on, like a normal boot, and it seems to work fine I think, but as soon as I launch Battle.net, it lags. I'm not 100% sure if it's Battle.net, but I think it is? And when I close Battle.net completely via Task Manager, even closed in the background, Destiny 2 still lags, so it means I gotta reboot my pc every single time I wanna play the game. Anyone has a clue as to why it's happening?

3 RepliesHow often do you update your drivers and shut down your pc?

This happens to me if I don't restart the PC after a while

3 RepliesEdited by Crisidelm: 8/19/2021 1:27:54 PMIf your temps are okay all the time, the origin of such a problem can be pretty hard to track down. You obviously think it's the game, but I haven't seen such a problem being reported before: poor performance, very little FPS on AMD cards, yes, quite often, but full-on freezes on a regular basis, no. Does only the game freeze, or the whole system become unresponsive during the freezes, too? I take it for granted you're using an onboard soundcard; are the drivers old, new? How old and powerful is your PSU?

2 RepliesThis post will be left unsolved as any of the solutions given on steam haven't solved any of the problems I had with the game. The problem are coming from the game and not from my PC since is fairly new and can run much heavier games than that. Destiny 2 is everything but AMD friendly. Here are all of the solutions (page 1 and 2) tried to solve this issue. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1085660/discussions/0/3034850411001607623/?ctp=2 I will now uninstall the game and move on.
