It’s not really confirmed whether Wyverns are combat frames, so all for all we know the Vex could be seriously holding out on us because they do not yet perceive us as a threat.

Wyverns with six arms

Like the Orbital-Framed from Zone of the Enders.

Edited by BIRB: 8/18/2021 7:55:08 PMBasically a wyvern with even bigger thighs.

2 RepliesEdited by Centaur-1: 8/18/2021 8:03:42 PMAT-ATs that fly. All we have are AT-STs that jump.

Soundwaves. Just, Soundwave from Transformers, as far as the eye can see.

2 RepliesEdited by draycole: 8/18/2021 8:10:32 PMI think it's be pretty cool if we got a vex strike, and by the end the boss is like the vexs attempt at replicating a guardian. Kinda like what they did when fighting Oryx. And the replicated guardian is tbe boss of the strike, but it has pseudo light abilities from all 3 classes, that are different everytime you play the strike Or maybe it cycles through classes throughout the fight

1 Replyrace cars. autobots rollout!

Maybe they shoot straight

Bro. Wyverns are silly in GM’s now. Let’s not add anything more cracked to the game. Bungie adds 6 shot linear fusion and void cannons then slaps on overload to next season wyverns.
-
4 RepliesDo they have anything far more impressive at all? That I know of, we've only got a quote from Calus, and that's not much to go on.
-
5 RepliesI don't get why non combat frames have guns 🤔
-
I doubt it's because they don't see us as a threat. Rather, they're unsure of what to do because we're too big of a threat. We've slain countless numbers of them and defeated threats they themselves could not beat (such as Oryx). They also can't simulate us either, and they're now seeing both Light and Dark at their Vex gates ready to duke it out. As far as we know, they're not even sure if their warrior frames can stop us, and they seem keen on waiting it out until one or both sides have been weakened/defeated before doing anything drastic.
-
1 ReplyNah they definitely see us as a threat. They're actually scared of us because they can't simulate our powers. Although Panoptes almost did before we killed him. But yeah it's hard to say for me cuz they're already very well fit for combat as is, I can only imagine like bigger frames and more lethal weaponry. Imagine something like a swarm of flying harpies bombarding areas with either lasers or something like missiles.

Something ez to defeat and pose no real threat...

1 ReplyThe vex can't see us a threat because they can't simulate us to perceive us. The vex simulate situations to see what's the best outcome for the vex, unfortunately for them... Guardians can't be simulated as light is the one thing they can't simulate. We are unpredictable and so the vex can't perceive us as a threat. Even though, we've basically killed various mind and Atheon aka times conflux. We literally infiltrated the vault, where they have total mastery and beat everything they threw at us.

1 ReplyThe ultimate vex form will not look like anything... It will be an invisible architect kill volume that just spins wildly around the room.
-
7 RepliesHuh? You mean Goblins? When you consider the nature of the Vex I don't see them having a need for combat frames. Every Vex construct is effectively a powered suit for Radiolarian fluid inhabited by a host of Vex, all working together to achieve their collective Hive mind's goal - so where do frames fit in? Less direct control. Less efficient. Just as costly to create (energy wise) Nope makes no sense to me!
-
1 ReplyKnowing Bungie, they will be just vex with a different color scheme and a little bigger.
-
4 RepliesHopefully not as stupid looking as the iron banner armor lol.
-
How can the vex not see us as a threat? I thought they'd seen every possibility? That being the case, surely they know we're a threat?
-
Edited by CRIMSONKILLER982: 8/17/2021 9:57:36 PMCreatively and realistically speaking something familiar to an oracle. Bungie speaking just a turkey walker instead of chicken.
-
1 ReplyIt's crazy to think that the vex really don't see us as an actual "threat" yet. Especially considering we've slain how many of their legions, machine gods, minds, and the heart of the black garden? Atheon, Templar, nexus, undying, consecrated, Sanctified, the list goes on

Probably like a cyclops but stuck on a walking frame. Idk, that’s just where my mind goes.

Judging by the Wyvern, probably less hands and more appendage-mounted ordinance. I'm thinking some sinister combination of known Vex functions too. Like, take the long range beams and put them on a spread turret mounted on the Vex's arms or head. Maybe have the chest plate pop open to reveal a triple beam that sweeps vertically trying to catch the Guardian within the deadly tines of its maser rake. Take the very functional arms of the most advanced Hydra units and give them mounted barriers that can be manipulated freely rather than on a timed rotation, similar to what Belmon the Transcendent Mind does when they take two barriers and force them to stay crossed in front of him, interfering with your timing and also seemingly blocking barrier penetration mods to boot.
