Why can't Bungie be fair?
I keep complaining that I want the two Scout rifles from both Deep Stone Crypt and Vault of Glass. But the fact that I HAVE to have random players in order to do the raids, annoys me to no end. I don't understand why there can't be better ways to get the weapons from other activities. I mean seriously, if they already gave out different weapons with Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit, then why can't I just do the normal stuff of doing bounties, doing seasonal challenges, or even doing triumphs in order to get the raid weapons and such? I don't care about team building exercises - I HATE doing that in video games. And BECAUSE Destiny is all about that, I just can't accept that. I'm sorry Bungie, but advertising newer weapons by doing complicated stuff just annoys me. I wish you were more fair.

I don’t see how it’s unfair. Everyone has the opportunity to get a fireteam together to do raids. Everyone is capable of finding a Sherpa to teach them a raid. If you’re not willing to put in the work for those scouts, you don’t deserve them. If you want all the rewards in this game, expect to play all the content. If you can’t do that, D2 might not be the game for you.

Otherwise, there are plenty of games that are single player that will help fill the that void for loot. Destiny is mostly made to be played in multi player. Another thing to point out there is no point in getting those raid weapons if you are not willing to do raid activities or any activities that involve forming a fireteam with complete strangers.

This game at its core is multi-player, the game is -blam!-ed but it certainly doesn't need to go back to D2 vanilla.
