If I only I could force this type of people ONCE into a real life sports game against higher league semi pros or pros (most likely university level already was sufficient), with whomsoever they want from their friends and let them play say - baseball - basketball - soccer - American football - ... a few games and the league players going consistently for wins. I would like to ask the "git gud improve by playing against far better players" - faction afterwards - did you enjoy your experience - what did you learn - how much did you improve your skills - would you like to repeat. THAT was fun.

Because people think dropping someone in the deep end of the pool is actually going to be beneficial, this is wrong. For every 10 kids that make the jump a bunch are gonna drown.
