For clarification I have been playing the game for more than a year on steam and this is a problem that started roughly two days ago. Sometimes it freezes even before Beyond Light press enter thing comes up. Sometimes it freezes after pressing enter and waiting for character select. Sometimes game does not even open and crashes immediately. I already did a file verification on steam and that turned out nothing. After that I did a reinstall and even that did not worked out. Just now I tried to open the game again, trying for the first time after the reinstall and crahsed again which is why I am here writing this now. For more information, I have 16gb ram, Nvidia 1050ti, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz. I don't think this is something caused by my system since I've been playing without problems up untill now and I didn't do any driver updates or anything. Only one thing comes to my mind. Right before these crashes started happening I changed my display name from profile>settings on forums to something else (for whatever mad reason). It only started after that and game only opened after I changed it back to my old one. This was roughly two days ago and while I did managed to play sometimes it still froze and crashed from time to time on start up. I know I wrote a lot but hopefully someone helpfull will lend a hand or share some wisdom.
