Why does anyone at Bungie think this is a good system?

4 RepliesStop going for pointless seals. Problem solved. I know thats not what you want to hear but if you already know what steps its going to include and still go for it….thats kinda on you.
-
Every raid exotic should have a quest imo, I’d much rather do some binary again like the D1 outbreak quest than rely on rng
-
12 RepliesJust because RNJesus doesn't like you, doesn't make it a bad system.
-
RNG = Really Not Good. Titles should be about skill not luck. So many better ways to go about earning raid exotics. I just think Bungie could care less.
-
1 ReplyWhat we really need is better bad luck protection. Have your chances increase 2% every clear until its a 50/50 shot at the drop or something similar.
-
7 RepliesBecause if you got vex on your first run you would no longer want to do that raid. And people disliked divinity quest a lot.
-
19 RepliesUnequivacally no. RNG is fine. HOWEVER, there should be a way to make it easier. Flawless Normal should have like 25-30% chance once per week per account, Flawless Master should be 100% drop rate. Assuming that they continue to do Master raids

1 Replyget gud noob
-
1 ReplyI haven’t seen a Vex drop for anyone in weeks…
-
1 ReplyThey need to remove RNG exotics from the raids, seriously. Make raid exotics a damn quest every time. And if Bungie is worried about too many people having the raid exotic at that point then make the quest actually hard. It can't be this difficult to figure out a solution for such a simple problem.

I don't do raids, but I agree it's not very fair to have a title based on rng. My son did VoG on my account and I got mythoclast from that one and only completion. My kid still plays D1 regularly but doesn't really like D2 but wanted to check out the new VoG so I let him do it on my acct as his is way under level. I don't think it's really fair that someone like me that doesn't even raid can get lucky like that, but people with 100s of raids can't even get the title.
-
1 ReplyIf you flawless a raid it should be guaranteed.
-
Because Lore Wise, it makes sense Think about it, we're trapped in a never ending loop until Vex drops
-
1 ReplyCuz it forces hardcore completionist type people to keep going back and its easier than making good weapons that people want to go back for - I don't agree with it - but it has to work to a degree...got clan members with max looted clears of DSC that still haven't gotten EoT, i'd have fatebreaker if it werent for vex, took me 67 looted clears to get EoT myself... They think its a great system because it keeps players returning to their content...I stopped running dsc completely after i got EoT for the most part...

Make all raid exotics quest exotics.
-
Because it will push assiduous players to continue to play it.
-
Along with the stupid clan requirements
-
because it makes it limited not everyone is a winner
-
1 ReplyWhile i agree that the need for a raid exotic for a seal is stupid and broken, RNG should be kept for exotic raid weapons as it adds value to them, drop protection is in place for them too, things like divinity can be acquired by everyone, whereas if u have mythoclast its like "whoa, you have mythoclast", like i said it adds value to the exotic.
-
4 RepliesBecause u should get better RNG. Sometimes it's not in Bungie's end
-
3 RepliesYeah just make it a hard ass puzzle quest like cursed div runs on garden
-
2 RepliesOR..and hear me out here...OR increase the drop rate. imo the raid exclusive weapon is absolutely necessary to completing the seal. Acquiring all the gear is the entire point.
-
They clearly have chosen this vs. the quest based exotic. I don't see it changing permanently. They may do it next time around and then it'll be right back to RNG based.
