I went to xur, TWICE, week after week. and turned in both the quests to get an exotic cipher but still didn’t get an exotic cipher for either of the turned in, grindy-ass quests for many many strikes, which is a complete waste of my time for even doing since I needed the ciphers for certain things unacquireable any other way.
I’m not doing a third one if it isn’t going to give me something I spent my time, money (for the game itself, the playstation plus required to do the strikes, and the dlcs which the game furthers itself upon!), and patience!
(Like, hello, 20 something strikes for one of them alone?? Talk about rather wanting to watch titanic TWO TIMES than do all these strikes for no reward as intended for)
Please fix this because I don’t even feel like even purchasing the next dlc at this point with coming back to this game after many years (the first osiris expansion), and came back in this legendary edition to witness you killing kayde off, like your reputation proceeds with you like the other game you made.. Killing the only interesting character in the game.

Yes I know I’m going off topic at this point over 2 exotic ciphers, but I feel like this needs to be said in one go at this point with how unappealing this franchise is getting to me. Ever since I’ve played through every butt-fuggin update throughout all the destiny 1 and 2 dlcs (except for the seasons thing, I wasn’t there for that until this splicer one) I see they punish the veteran people who played the game first by killing off Kayde instead of this new guy they put into the intro to the game now called Shaw, who (doesn’t do anything and has all these guardians doing all his deeds resulting in his fireteam not being saved because he said if he’d have left days ago navota wouldn’t have done what navota did, resulting in that strike that replaced omnigoul’s!) should’ve been the guy to die so the new players would have to mourn over someone instead of us, the veteran players, having to suffer even more than we already have been??? I predicted he’d die anyway since Johnson was done off the same way. Like, make everyone lovable and not give them lines that bore us as if they were being read out of a translated book?? That way you don’t have to kill the only interesting one.
Please, not to repeat about kayde’s death again but that’s new to me though, and the story just being told so... blandly, as the Stranger from the end of the first game giving you the coolest gun I’ve ever seen just blandly stands in the same spot now. Moving her hand in the same way over and over and over again talking boringly and boringly, you’d shit if you had a button sensor for how everyone skips her dialog and Zavala’s... Especially Ikoras, which everyone remembers a word she even says... Right??
So ahem.. yeah, 2 exotic ciphers I don’t have...
Did I mention I’m one of those people that only go to the doctor if they have everything and I mean EVERYTHING to explain about? This is that same kind of thing, because I don’t say nothing until I really need to.

2 RepliesHi there. Did you have space in your Consumables inventory to receive an Exotic Cipher or do you already have a Cipher? Exotic Ciphers do not go to the Postmaster and players can only hold 1 at a time. If you already had one or your inventory had no open spaces when you turned in the quest, then the Cipher is lost.

4 RepliesHi there. You can only hold one Exotic Cipher in your inventory or vault at once, so make sure you don't already have one. As for your feedback concerning the characters, this would be better suited for a separate post in the #FeedbackD2 forum where it would be seen by the correct devs.
