Sniper Titan
I just would like to discuss my very old problem : i always hunt my best synergy subclass to my sniper play but never ever find the perfect solution.
It is me or just Destiny is not for Titan snipers?

Sniper and bottom tree striker body shot knock out.

Heart of inmost light, middle tree sentinel, and magnetic nades. Play off your shield and treat your nade like a pocket shotty

1 ReplyTitan is easily the worst sniping class. It can still be done but others just do it better. Titans can set up citans barricades or be tanks with stasis but it lacks movement abilities and it makes sniping on them one dimensional. On warlock you have your melee, icarus dash and heat rises which make it the best sniper class IMO. Hunters have a good jump and can dodge and get rewarded for getting headshots when you’re on spectral blades or bottom tree gunslinger.

Well there aren’t any subclass perks that are precision focused/dependant on Titan so it’s no surprise that there isn’t direct subclass synergy with snipers.

I use Hunter for sniping, mostly, it seems easier for me. Titan is my main and my assaulter or defender.

It is me or just Destiny is not for Titan snipers?[/quote] Past two seasons I mained sniper on my titan. You don’t really need to build into it with your subclass, you can use anything. That’s said… right now there’s a pretty op build with titan stasis for overshield spam. Use this build with a sniper and you’ll be able to leak against other snipers with safety due to being unable to die in one headshot.

Titans aren’t alone in this but they do have a few half options. 1. Way of the missile, last word, sniper and dunemarchers. Ballistic slam might suit a shotgun better but Inertia override and a heavy hitting sniper might still OHK with a body. I remember them talking about nerfing it at one point though so that’s why I say might. 2. Stasis. Yes it’s a bad super now but glacier grenades and snipers go really well together and let you get the drop on players for at least the first half of any match.

I was trying to circumnavigate this with cloudstrike recently to no avail. However I did end up back on the strongholds train so if you see a Titan blasting around low lvl content with worldline zero, thats me having a blast hahahahaha
