Did anyone even do Solstice armor?
I mean, I started it on one character and couldn't make myself care enough to bother getting through the blue set. I rarely even see anyone wearing the Solstice armor this year.
Hopefully it's a complete failure this year, because this stale event cycle needs to change. Feels like it was created by someone just half-assed cobbling together the bare minimum.

I couldn't be bothered to grind it out. Plus it didn't appeal to me. I did enjoy the tactical challenges presented in the aerial zone though.

I still haven't finished the first set for the glow (and I refuse to do my other two characters so the Ghost is forever locked to me) despite having everything ready to go for the last three weeks. Why? Because I hate using LFG to look for players in a game that should have matchmaking for all activities in-game already. I may eventually get around to it on the final week, I might not. I'm not using the armor because it's ugly so it doesn't even matter.

I just used the bright Dust to buy a set and I'm chilling now 😎

First year took me whole event getting 1 armor set and not even complete. This time around in 2 days I had the full set for the 3 alts. Was so quick I even got it for a friends acc that hasn’t played a lot. Not only you get a x2 and x3 multiplier. You only unlock white glows once and you have them in all 3 clases.

I picked up the first armour piece then never set foot in the EAZ and deleted it over the week end. I like the EAZ as an area but it is too sprawling and not enough enemies to make it fun from what I recall from prior years. I am not under the impression anything changed with it at all. Lazy Bungie recycling of stale events.

Did all 3. A lot faster than previous years. Took like 3 days playing it casually.

9 RepliesI completed all the characters, I'll unlock the White Glows later. I spot the occasional fools that wasted money on colored glows. White glows = actually earn Color glows = bought

I did the first upgrade from Rare to Legendary, then I used the Sinthothing to make it an Universal Ornament since I don't like glows.

It's a nice collectible. People make the mistake and think they need to grind for it while you can simply fulfill the requirements by playing the game and you don't have to wear the stuff. Same for the glow

3 RepliesJust my main. I'm so burnt out on this game I barely even want to log in at Weekly Reset. Now, all I do in the game anymore is Master VOG to get the Timelost weapon. I don't even care if we finish or not.

Nope. Not bothering. Don't like the armour and I don't like what has to be done to earn it. I play a few matches of Rumble then try and get some PvE kills for the catalysts I want to finish then go play something else. This season hasn't been very much fun.

I did, it took a day and a half of playing to get it done. It isnt hard, just f***ing boring as hell. One thing bungie sucks at, if I had to choose only one thing, is events. Destiny events are a laughing stock in the gaming world. They are dull, unimaginative, and all the same. Go do strikes, crucible, gambit. Kill enemies with abilities, blah blah. It would be cool if they truly brought in some wicked cool new modes for events
