Agreed. She should offer unique ships with unique questlines. Just to switch it up a little. Experiment with different types of quests instead of kill this many in this mode this way. Ideas???

1 ReplyI've always thought it was really stupid to have Amanda holliday as the shipwright and yet not have her sell legendary ships and sparrows and the same with Xur an exotic vendor that doesn't sell exotic ships,sparrows or ghosts.This shows that Bungie doesn't have any idea how to use their vendors.

Every vendor needs to actually be relevant and I'd argue that only the Gunsmith is actually the closest. I know what I'd do for all of them: Amanda Drifter Ada-1 Banshee-44 Zavala Shaxx Ikora Hawthorne and really any planetary vendors and seasonal vendors because you could apply some simple, but effective, changes to every single one of them to give them a purpose.

I’m fine if exotics were still just the store an engrams, just because they’d never consider giving them to Amanda, but I’d definitely like it if they gave her legendaries from the engrams. Personally, I’d prefer them just take most of the legendaries out as there are a plethora that the only difference is a paint job, but then the excitement of getting one would significantly decrease. It would be somewhat excusable in D1 when there were no shaders, but even then most ships and sparrows were pretty unique (not to mention there were a lot more earnable ones outside of eververse).
