Stricter bans on the who are purposely dying in pvp

If u dont like pvp go back to fornite

1 ReplyWhen Bungie gives a PVE focused clan a seasonal challenge to complete Trials matches, we r gonna throw on our chicken heads and jump off the nearest edge to see if we can fly every time...it’s that simple.

8 RepliesIf they would stop making PVP a pinnacle drop/powerful drop, catalyst requirement, seasonal challenge requirement or quest requirement then you will see less people jumping off the map or leaving early. Forcing players into a game mode they dislike will continue to foster this behavior. This also happens in Gambit and Strikes. Bounty hunters get what they need and then leave. BTW: Fortnite is a PVP game.

Especially in Comp where Bungie completely screwed over the team that has one of these tools on. I swear to God every 3rd game I get an idiot just sitting there the entire match or a player that just jumps off the map as soon as it starts. Good players shouldn’t be continually punished by Bungie.

IMHO, the problem is lobby-balancing, and lack of either true CBMM or SBMM. People usually leave matches when they can't kill anyone-- but are less prone to do so when your team is winning-- which is why Bungie will matchmake to bring you closer to a 50/50 win/loss ratio. Bungie DESPERTLY needs casuals to play crucible, so their “preferred” customers can bully someone and wont have a “sweaty” competition. The bottom half of players are discouraged from trying a new weapon, learning maps, working out a crucible identity, etc., because they are already matched against superior players, commonly equipped with trials weapons. Clearly, the lower skill players are the fodder used to fuel this crucible scam. It’s also why Bungie bribes people, who don’t want to play crucible, by making it a part of quests for better gear. In a recent match, the top player had a 31 KD. Yes-- 31.0. Mine was 0.67. The actions of the bottom 2-3 players are generally inconsequential. After being subject to this repeatedly, do you honestly expect these players to care about the outcome of a match? For me, personally, it’s hard to get mad at someone for leaving or throwing a match when all they are doing is trying to send Bungie a message that their current matchmaking algorithms are bad for most players across the board.

You have 100 hit points not 179 and you can only get 200 with shields and every weapon is lethal. Don't know why people clown Fortnite like its a joke game when it nearly buried destiny the first time and I actually make money from rank and tournaments you can't do that in destiny, maybe in halo but not destiny. I hate quitters just as much as anyone but the hard to swallow pill is that we have all quit before and if you quit once then you lost the right to get mad at quitters no matter what you quit. I have quit before and it is because I know the game was a lost, bad players aren't going to start playing better. I have no qualms quitting fabled games because they are far beneath me.[spoiler]far beneath me[/spoiler]
