34 GMs. Double drops inmost of them. Multiple duplicate rolls on the Plug One Adept. NOT ONE with feeding frenzy reservoir burst. This is stupid and ridiculous. This isn't RNG. This is F**credit up and you know it. It's not fun, it's not cute, it's not good game design. I don't expect it first drop, but you would think in 60 to 70 drops, you would get one. I really think you do this sh*t on purpose.
Update: I've seen many people that are just saying that this is bad RNG. I believe you are missing two main points:
1) everyone that has stated this is making one big assumption that I have also made for many years and that is that each perk in the pool, or each possible roll, has an equal chance to drop. As I've thought about this, I don't ever remember Bungie actually specifically stating this. I've heard YouTubers stating this. This is a MASSIVE assumption because, if it is wrong, the whole RNG argument changes from, "you just got unlicky" to "Bungie is trying to make the grind this way and not disclosing the odds to you, just like companies don't tell you odds of items dropping in loot boxes."
2) if each perk had an equal chance to drop, then how is the RNG statically supporting that I've gotten upwards of 5 of the same 3 rolls from this grinding. You can say bad RNG, but I've heard from others that they are experiencing the same thing. This doesn't suggest equal odds RNG, thus suggests tinkering behind the scenes from Bungie.
What do I want? I want Bungie to be honest about this or look into it to make sure it is working as intended (my God how many times have they broken their loot drops???). If they are letting the community believe in equal odds RNG as I've seen people in this post and so many other over the years (I've believed this too), but this is actually not the case, then Bungie needs to be honest and disclose this.

1 ReplyWasted an entire day to watch the same exact rolls drop. You RNG system suck. This game is an absolute waste of time, and YOU BUNGIE don't even come close to respecting players' time.
-
I've got kickstart on almost every single plug1.
-
Yes. I'm starting to believe the game is designed to make us all zombies, grinding for everything and rarely getting anything.
-
1 ReplyPlug one has 7 perks in both column 3 and 4. This means that the average drop chance to have the exact 2 perks you want in those columns is about 2%, or 1 in 50. These dudes dds get even worse when you start factoring in specific batteries, barrels or masterworks. Quite frankly, we can’t even call this bad rng, as you havent even broken the average threshold yet. Just gotta keep grinding!
-
I got that roll. Just wanted you to know.
-
5 RepliesI'm pretty sure this game has a system where the more you grind out an activity, the more it knows you havent gained the roll you desire, so it just gives you the same shit. Over and over again.
-
1 ReplyYou’re absolutely right that it’s not RNG. I got only 2 adept plugs, exact roll. How tf? And you do see shitty rolls and perks on guns more often than not. There has to be some type of higher percentage on the worst perks to make us grind more. For example, i’ve gotten like 50 of the new crucible hc, and not one has had a range masterwork with kill clip. 100% of the ones i got with kill clip has been stability mw on a gun that doesnt need stability!

I’ve only gotten 2 of the Plug One’s. I’ve run it only a few times. Just checked, Feeding Frenzy and Reservoir Burst. I never use it, just use it as a placeholder because I’m not a big fan of fusion rifles. Oh well, hope your luck gets better.

I kind of feel they do it on purpose. I got like 20 Plugs before I got Reservoir Burst - heating up. All other were complete garbage. I don't remember getting a great roll for any adept weapon on the first drop. Bungie like to force us to play longer it seems if we want good loot. Anybody get a god roll fatebringer on the first try? Curious.
-
2 RepliesOf course they do. They put the really good perk combos “rng” as low as possible to keep people grinding and call that content.
-
6 RepliesLet's go into the numbers of it. There are 5 main perks in the first column, as Bottomless Grief is a fixed roll in the second slot for that column on Adept Nightfall weapons, and 6 main perks in the second. You are shooting for one specific roll, so the odds of getting it are 1 in 30. In other words, you have a 29 in 30 chance of not getting the one you want. Getting 70 in a row that you do not want is (29/30)^70. Multiply the result by 100 to convert it to a percentage and you get 9.3%. Yes, it's very unlucky, but it's not so unlucky that you can't fathom the odds or that you could justifiably say the system is rigged. People can downvote this comment all they like, and I don't doubt that they will, but numbers don't lie.

1 ReplyRng is just statistic probably, getting 1 roll doesn’t increase your chances of getting a different roll next time.
-
Nothing like getting that trash rolled adept weapon am I right!?
-
1 ReplyBeen running GMs off and on all week with 4 different friends and I'm the only one who has gotten the perk combo. It feels like something with the perk combo is intentionally rarer or something
-
8 Repliesbro how about do zero GMs and use fusion reloader mods?
-
1 ReplyLoL try getting over 100 Pali Adepts and not one had the roll I wanted. And that’s just the two main perks. I wasn’t even trying for 5/5 roll. I would have taken a 2/5 roll.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Amazinite: 7/11/2021 10:17:54 AMNot the adept version, but the number of normal Plug Ones that have dropped for me with Bottomless Grief + Reservoir Burst is annoying. Like every other drop is that same roll.

2 RepliesEdited by WulfPak666: 7/11/2021 2:37:14 PMI feel ya. Rng has also brutalized my buns in this game, whether it be finally getting a Raid exotic after 50+ clears, or never getting an exotic for years until Xur sells it, this game really twists my tatas. Especially on the Adept Hung Jury. I got 8 of them last week and 6/8 rolled with Adrenaline Junkie.
-
Alright! Now you are owning the 'destiny' experience.

Edited by Kiro - 13: 7/11/2021 10:57:17 PMtry making over 500 code ignitions only only 2 with vorpal. neither had spike grenades. Maybe today will be different. or atleast id like to believe it will finally drop.
-
They shouldn't call it rng. They should just call it a 4% chance or just "random." Lol
-
Huh. Did my first GM run this week and none dropped. Did my second and got two; a PvP god roll and a PVE god roll. I guess I am good to go 😂
-
U mad bro?
-
3 RepliesWell only 2 people responded Sounds like just a couple people are lucky winners of bad RNG. That's how RNG works
-
1 ReplyWhy you want this trash of a weapon?
