Day 123, Destiny 2 Text chat is STILL broken on PC.
Title.
Seriously its been broken since the start of this season, Shouldn't this be #1 priority fix?
Bungo and their quality service.

Or try to inform your team where the invader is located... and you cant because a simple chat system is STILL jacked up... but they can quickly nerf the meta or disable Telesto and fix its issues for the 32nd time... come on now... really?

1 Replybungie doesn't care about anything that makes the game harder or ruins player experience. they only care about things that makes the game fun, in which case there's always a massive nerf storm. or they only care about making money: half assed seasons and a season pass and eververse.

It being off saves me from ripping people a new one but I still try to and it works every now and then. Gotta let the blue know they stupid. My last comp game I had to. 2v3 and we was 3 and we lost.

I would imagine it is deliberate, there is no way it is hard to fix, people only use it to insult or moan so why would this pathetic firm even try and fix something where people might ask for help They have no intention of fixing it, they know it is broken and are leaving it on purpose

1 ReplyDestiny cant even fix Day 1 bugs, they will probably handle this game like rockstar has handled the GTA franchise after GTA V came out. There’s no consistency in D2, u gotta make ur own consistency. Avoid everything that can make the engine break and kill u etc. The current NF/GM and the ramp at the boss is an example. But yeah, they really should fix smt as simple as a chat..

I'm not quite sure it should be #1, especially if the release of crossplay will just break it again, but it does suck and the lack of communication on it is annoying.

The work around to chat bug is for all fireteam members to switch to /team then switch back to /fireteam chat channel when loading into or already in an activity together with fireteam. Doesn't work while fireteam is in Orbit though. Once you're able to type in fireteam channel it should be working. Otherwise, if chat msg is going into the abyss then keep trying. Must be redone for every new fireteam you join.

1 ReplyThey keep saying they are aware of the issue and investigating yet if you check their post with all the issues there is not a single mention of fireteam chat being broken (unless I somehow missed it). At this point it feels like they are just waiting until start of next season to fix it like with plenty of other issues.
