Increase GM Adept weapon drop rates
Like the title says. It would be great if the adept weapons had a guaranteed drop rate after completing a GM with platinum rewards. I was able to get 2 clears over the weekend and not once did an adept weapon drop. In fact, I was the only person both attempts that didn't get the adept weapon.
If only 5% of the community is completing the GM's the rewards should be guaranteed. Otherwise, it's just a waste of time and effort.

Takes the average person 20-30 minutes for a gm run, about the same amount of time it takes to cheat your way to flawless. One is guaranteed, one isn't.

I do believe the drop rate is 70%. That being said, a platinum grandmaster nightfall completion should never not reward the nightfall specific weapon.

Only had time for two clears yesterday, no Scout rifle. Also consider not just the time to do the GM (which isn't bad, really, <20 minutes), but the pre-grind we do beforehand to get to 1335.

My rate is about 16/20 gms for HJ. Drop rate seems fine to me.

1 ReplyI agree with this 100%. Not everyone that plays Grandmasters are top PvE players and it will take them hours to get even one clear let alone “grind” for different rolls. As for the Flawless chest in Trials there are teams that will struggle for hours to get a flawless run and they have a guaranteed drop every time. There are also top tier pvp teams that make 7 wins a joke in Trials; their ease of completion rewards them an adept each time. So why are the top tier PvE players shunned to a rng drop rate on the adept? Guaranteed drops only encourage playlist participation. Why would the average PvE player grind power and weapon rolls just to have a chance at a drop when they can easily just ignore it. Playlists only stay healthy as long as they are rewarding to the time invested in them.

1 ReplyI'm 6/6 runs for Hung Jury's. Seems fine to me. Scrub down those timers to 18 minutes for a proper grind.

2 drops out of 2 runs. Both rolls were trash but drop rate doesn’t seem too bad. I know my experience isn’t shared by all but then neither is the opposite end of the scale. In my opinion, nothing should be a guaranteed drop.

This week is easy to get drops. I definitely think that strikes like Glassway should have a higher drop rate.

1 ReplyHonestly what is the point of running GM just to compete with RNG 2x. 1 for even getting it dropped and 2 for a decent roll. This is the hardest content in the game and I'm getting crap like prisms that I can get from master gm. This should be guaranteed drops of the gun every time on completion, especially Plat completion.

7 RepliesI am 3/3 this week for Grandmaster drops. Has always been high. Not 100%, but still alot better than the fools who farm legends.

Meh. I got 6 adept hung jury’s out of 8 runs. It just seems really bad on the super hard GMs like Glassway.
