The whole mod system is broken (I'd even go as far as saying it's totally useless/pathetic/rubbish).
You have a ton of Charged with Light, Warmind Cell and Elemental Well mods that can't be used due to the lack of mod slots and power level limits (don't get me started on the fact it's near impossible to use a combination of all three mod types together!!!). To become charged\produce\create you need to use x, y, z mods however need a, b, c, d, e, f etc etc to actually use the charge to any benefit.
You have seasonal artefacts that are required to complete game objectives taking up valuable slots; some of which cost 6, 7 and 9 power (WTF is up with that sh!t). Some activities have all 3 champion types but you can't equip all 3 mod types to cover this due to limited slots and/or power. Yes you can play in a "fireteam" however many players do stuff solo or would like to just jump on for a quick play without having to arrange a fireteam beforehand. These mods shouldn't require an armour slot. You have acquired them (and pay ridiculous glimmer to reset if you stuff up or need to change!) in your seasonal artefact therefore they should be AUTOMATICALLY available for use without being slotted.
The traction mod takes up a slot because Bungie developers are too damn lazy (or stupid) to create an option under "Controller" to fix a flaw in console gameplay.
To slot a mod costs 500 glimmer which is wasted when you discover the mod is crap and doesn't work as advertised or you discover halfway through your build you don't have enough power and/or slots so need to revert/change your loadout. DIM goes a long way to help with the loadout trial-and-error however we shouldn't need to use a 3rd party product to make an important game feature useable. Besides, doesn't fix the "broke mod" scenario.
No ability to save a loadout therefore you waste a crap load of time redoing things just because you needed to change your whole bl00dy loadout to try and accommodate a particular mod required for one bl00dy objective.
I have no doubt there's a heap more issues with the armour\mod system that I've forgotten or not come across. Either way, fix the damn feature Bungie....

Edited by Frieren The Homeless: 6/27/2021 10:02:46 PMCan we not do another overhaul we’ve lost 3 armor sets due to them changing armor perks and the 4th due to sunsetting I’m tired of regrinding whole armor sets.

I totally understand this. The only advice I can give is to make an armor set for whatever activity you need them for. It does involve time and effort to compile all this but in the end it’s worth it. That way you’re just swamping out armor bits instead of changing mods.
