Give us the option to create them like we could with halo reach, then start a map making contest for the community to vote on a map that will go into a rotation. What do you guys think?

Making a forge mode is a 100 times more complex than Bungie just making their own maps instead of toasters.
-
Honestly, bungie could ask for the community to make some maps, like a competition, and they let the community decide the top 10 to put in the game. Its wishful thinking at best, but it would be neat.
-
Asking for a forge mode? I can hear the comments from the low energy bots now “JUst gO play hAlO”

I feel like there's only close range map recently. #twilightGapNeedToGo
-
Just the fact that they vaulted 10 or 11 maps and didn't replace them with anything still has me shaking my head.
-
2 RepliesNot a bad idea but wouldn't that almost be harder to put into the game than actual maps?
-
Yeah same Handing over the reigns over to a competent studio Youre right I like youre thinkn
-
Been saying this for years. Unfortunately Destiny's engine and infrastructure can't support a map editor .
-
4 RepliesNo. Halo 5 was the worst Halo game because 343i pretty much heavily relied on Forge maps to make up the multiplayer maps. I love forge. I enjoy some forge maps. But Devs become lazy and their quality goes down when they give us stuff like forge. Everyone wants to become a Dev. Not very many people are willing to go to school to become a dev.

Is it to play Halo infinite instead?
-
they had to vault a lot of content, they wouldn't have the capacity for a map creator. they also wouldn't see it as profitable which is all they really care about unfortunately.
