Lol! Maybe we should have less back seat game developers? People have been complaining about this for years, clearly Bungie doesn't think it's an issue or they would have fixed it by now. If you're such a skilled game developer, make your own Destiny killer? I'd love to play it.
We just started week three? Why do you need max light on week two? It's meant to take all season....

Reaching max light level too quickly is an issue for bungie. You reach it and then you play less, I know because thats what i do. However there could be other ways to slow it down. Why so many pinnacles each week. Why plus 2's when they can be plus 1's. etc. In any case how many ppl actually max out LL quickly. When I look at the lobbies in the tower there are are a lot of low LL players.

Edited by MrSeanG: 6/1/2021 11:59:42 PMThat’s absolutely not true at all. The players that reach max light soonest, play most often consistently in the game. They are the players that help other clan mates and casuals complete activities and level up. You can look at highly lighted activity levels of any player. And they are always THE most active.

Not sure what you're going about. What did I say thats not true?

What is not true : That when a player hits hard cap they simply stop playing, as if the hard cap is some sort of end game. As a person who gets their light up quickly so I can help as many as possible, both in clan and lfg- it’s great to move through this efficiently, so I can focus on new load outs, trying new tactics and strategies and improving my overall skill or at least maintaining it. What destiny suffers from is a lack of content and a lack of executive leadership that respects its player base more than it caters to the eververse store.

Edited by massatony: 6/2/2021 3:56:28 AMRead my post again. I never said that they stop playing. I said that they play less. It's a general comment and not meant to be inclusive of every single player reaching max level. As a clan creator I certainly help others however i don't jump into every pinnacle event if I don't want to. I play less for myself more for others. My warlock light level is 1336 the other 2 1335. I just need to do everything I did to achieve those levels... If I don't want to.

Edited by MrSeanG: 6/1/2021 11:51:09 PMIf you don’t have anything useful to contribute, go to Reddit. I’m not interested in redeveloping a clone of d2. I’m interested in a requested feature being articulated to improve gameplay. I work in uX, and have enough merit in realistic changes that are low effort, and high reward of in game experience for player and publisher. I’ve also noticed how either self sabotaging players like yourself undermine your own best interests and the best interests of the community at large, or bungie overlooks these easily implemented improvements. If you’re fine, move on.
