PSA for anyone struggling with Adds, Snipers and Oracles...

No just kidding. It can be awkward when you're trying to pay attention to the order of everything when a whole-ass wave of Vex pick that exact moment to warp into your face.
[b][u]HEIR APPARENT[/u][/b]
Specifically with the catty. Spin it up and voila! Adds and snipers cannot break you, but you can mow them down with ease at your convenience. It will pop Oracles pretty quickly too.
Cannot recommend this enough. Give it a go, you'll see the light.

EDIT: this is referring explicitly to the Oracles encounter. Much better options for Templar and Atheon.

I just use telesto with guillotine and it works wonderfully....and depending on the class I get well,bubble or tether

This reminded me of when I used to recommend Super Good Advice for oracles because shooting oracles counted as missed shots and you'd get most of your ammo back. I realize it's not quite related, just recommending a machine gun for oracles brought back memories lol.

2 RepliesThought about heir as my xenophage quest is bugged, it’s stuck right before the pit. I think I will try it in my heavy. I was using witherhoard and null composure and had no problems. I was on the back two oracles and null would vape each with one burst. If I didn’t have null I would go trinary as my next option. I think these are two of the best fusions IMO. I don’t care for that plug 1. The problem we had on the right side was the snipers . They took up a lot of the guys time on ad clearing so larger ads would get through. You can watch both those back oracles and spam the cave with witherhoard. Thanks for the psa, I think heir would have made the sniper problem go away.

I haven’t had a chance to use many mods yet but they seem like they’ll be pretty helpful for this raid. Pay attention to them to increase your loadout flexibility.

I'd recommend that you just trap the spawns with anarchy or witherhoard and then read from one of the many positions the hobs can't see you. Don't forget about rifts and barricades. Lots of strategies work though.

Edited by NYDIBS: 5/28/2021 1:30:34 AMIt’s really not that hard. 1 person can watch the 3 oracles on right side, xeno 1 shots them, a sniper will takes 2 shots All it takes is 1 or 2 more players at most to watch the other 3 oracles. That leaves 3-4 players to focus on adds

30 RepliesSounds interesting, I'll give it a go later. I was usually using Xenophage because it one shots Oracles and then I can focus on the adds, but Heir Apparent might come in handy for Challenge Mode.

RIP to me since I was unable to get Heir Apparent cause I gpt lagged or error coded out of PvP matches. Though I use either Xenophange or Heritage with the arc oracle mod from VoG that increases shotty damage to oracles.
