Unable to deactivate linked Xbox Account because it no longer exists.
This is creating issues with cross save. My account has a very old Xbox gamertag linked to it, the email for that account is literally no longer in service. As far as I can tell there's no way for me to remove it from my account.
What are my options?

Edited by suttungur: 5/20/2021 9:20:38 AMYou should contact Microsoft and try and recover the account. In order to remove it from your profile, you need to be able to authenticate it. If you are unable to do so, your only option would be to move your active account(s) to a new Bungie profile as Bungie cannot remove platform accounts from users' profiles for security reasons. Moving to a new profile, however, will cause you to lose any promotional emblems you have claimed, as they are tied to the profile and not platform accounts. Also, your profile's age will reset to the date you create the new one, i.e. you'd lose the respectable 14 years...
