Sorry but no, PVP is part of this game get used to playing the entire game if you want to get all of things available within the game.

Raids are part of the game, too. Should every weapon be locked behind a raid?
-
Raids are not locked behind players. It is a mechanic. That is the huge difference. The game does not cheat(outside of the architects) The game does not look for and or have advantages that the average player does not use/have.
-
sorry, not really sure what you're trying to say here? I'm not looking for a cheat?
-
Pvp players arent on the forums complaining about raids.
-
PvP players aren't one homogeneous group. If anyone has ever complained about not being able to get eg 1K Voices (and you can bet the house people have complained about not being able to get Raid weapons at some point), how do you know that none of them play PvP? That's too much of a generalisation. Point is, in response to the earlier post saying it's part of the game so don't object, there's no reason why players should have to use every part of the game to unlock things, otherwise you may as well argue that every quest should have a raid component, otherwise they're not using all of the game, are they? Just because it's part of the game doesn't mean it has to be used
Sorry but no, PVP is part of this game get used to playing the entire game if you want to get all of things available within the game.
Dosent always have to been included in every catalyst mission. Pvp is a shit game mode that bungie refuses to fix. Either fix the damn mode or get rid of it as a whole. Simple as that

I strongly disagree. If PvP was being updated and cared for, I would agree... But it is not. For two years running. Locking things behind players who do everything under the sun to have advantages like mods, cheats & running stacked should not be a requirement for in game items. I get it that it is part of the game... but it is an abused aspect of the game and therefore should not be a part of the requirements.
-
Maybe PVP isnt being updated because these forums are filled with nothing but anti-pvp posts.
-
That is because loot is being locked behind players. The majority of players do not go to the lengths that the minority of players do to “be the best”. Like I stated... mechanics can be learnt. Power can be gained. But your average player is not going out there and buying mods for anti-recoil, full auto etc while playing on the lowest hertz monitor. Outside of the game advantages should never be gatekeepers

Agreed 90% of the games content is around pve. Content is not all locked behind pvp it only has steps. Why are ppl not complaining about trials weapons not being obtainable through pve ? You don't see pvp players complain about anarchy and divinity being only obtainable through raids ( conquest seals now ) or a god roll palindrome or shadow price being strike loot.

Cool; GM Proving Grounds is also part of the game; best lock the next Catalyst behind 3 clears of that.... Or maybe behind a Last Wish boss challenge; most of the playerbase does that ever.... "It's part of the game" has always been a bad argument, because NO ONE does 100% of a multiplayer game; very, very few people do 100% completions even of singleplayer games.
-
And Drizzt is locked behind beating the Gauntlet on Extreme. Your point?
-
PvP is literally a side mode, the main game is PvE so a large amount of quests shouldn't require you to do something that is like 1% of the entire game lol
