Show me where Apple have - in one hit - raised their price 750%.
Price rises over time are to be expected, especially in IT as technology and function increase.
More over when inflation is accounted for, price rises of mobile technology are far less financially impactful.
In this instance, we see no increase in function, no added value and are dealing with a static economy in Destiny 2.
In simple terms, we are buying the same thing for a 750% price increase.

Unsure if that's what you meant to link but if it is, you don't understand my point at all and are arguing something totally different - which is the price difference between two different brands making a similar product.

Edited by Talathiel: 4/24/2021 1:30:27 AMMy point is that there have been monitor stands around forever ( not "literally" forever just a figure of speech ) but Apple will still inflate their prices to that degree because they know people will still pay that huge markup just to have the Apple logo. 29.95 x 750% = $224.63 The markup for the Apple stand over 3rd party is over 3300% I know what you are saying and I agree. A company pulling a 750% markup on their own product is nothing but greed, and I'm sure I could find another example if I wanted to look hard enough. What I'm saying is Apple knew there were stands out there for under $100 that were good but still marked up their own stand ( by over 3300% in the example I used ) because they knew the "Brand Fans" would still buy it regardless of price. And that is the exact same greed Bungie is showing here. Also my first comment was supposed to be more of a throw-away shitpost comment lol.
