Stasis Titan super should have little to no damage resistance

The Behemoth super is still deadly, and when you stop to consider how much survival utility is built into the super. The behemoth Titan can use its melee for very fast aerial movement, which makes it near impossible to shoot. When it gets closer, it can slam the ground to not only freeze people, but create its own cover. There’s far too many overall benefits to the super, and it either needs to have some of these benefits toned back, or make it less damage resistant so they need to be smarter with their plays.

  • I think the damage resistance is fine. I personally don’t care much about whether the super gets nerfed or not. That being said IF it does need a nerf the damage resistance isn’t the issue.

  • Thought you were a hunter main, turns out you’re a wahlock, even worse. But I guess you wahlocks have the edge here, bungie adores all the tears you wahlocks put out and usually follow suit. So I guess the best action is to cry more and bungie will listen, should be easy for you wahlock mains.

    • Or how about making the melee a lot more like shoulder charge so you can't fly across the map? No other titan super can or should be able to that.

      • The idea of a Titan being less tanky is absolute heresy. Just reduce Behemoth's mobility. Reduces their tyranny in PvP, doesn't reduce their survivability in PvE.

      • They already nerfed it to a reasonable level I think, before it was ridiculous now we can actually kill them without needing to freeze them I think they're fine now

Behemoths have one major weakness - attacks from high up in the air. Their grenades don't work and their crystals can't reach you. They have to spend a lit of meter just to kill one annoying target, which is inefficient. If they have to chase you long distances, you have a fighting chance to take them down, preferably with a gun that has Vorpal Weapon. Dawnblade Warlocks and Lion Rampant Titans can quickly take to the sky and force the Behemoth into an unfavorable situation. Hunter's best option is Stompies, which is nowhere as safe, but it's SOMETHING to quickly launch off the ground and buy you some time. If nothing else, at least try to lead them towards your allies to get the teamshooting going.

Honestly only thing I dislike about Behemoth is a issue with Shiver Strike. Not sure if its a bug/exploit or intended, but its really annoying when they shiver strike normally or in super and they get immune ticks or ignore status effects that should proc like Freeze, Slow, Burn, etc. To many times I watch a Penumbral Blast, Shuriken, or throwing knife hit a Behemoth in the middle of the shiver strike animation dead on, even with damage numbers and they just ignore the status effect. Really thats my only issue with Behemoth. Super just sends me back to D1 strats of saving my super for counter play rather than being a smooth brain and popping my super the second I see a red blimp on my radar. Then again I also use Tabarah so the Ravanous Beast proc shreds them like paper if I have it ready. Try some other weapons. Behemoth is good at messing with the aim of a Handcannon or Pulse rifle, but it can't perform to well if someone has an automatic or faster fire rate weapon. Fusions are also a good pick as it gives you time to backpedal and kite them into running straight at you rather than zig zagging.

        • Just cause you can't hit someone doesn't mean none else can.

        • Just shoot them in transition. They are very vulnerable during their transition. especial felwinters w/vorpal.

        • Right now Stasis in general is still somewhat of an issue. But Behemoth? If you can get the damage in at a distances they’re not that hard to down.

        • Okay. You're buggin bruh. They're so much easier to kill since both that fragment damage reduction and it's damage reduction were reduced. Removing it's damage resistance completely would literally make it a useless super because you'd get killed almost immediately after you popped it. It's fine as is. And I'm a warlock main. Behemoth is probably the only 1 of the 3 stasis subclasses thats actually balanced rn

          • Like they said in the twab announcing nerfs to stasis, there is only so much separation between pve and pvp. I doubt they can tone down the damage resistance only in pvp. So they won’t do it otherwise it’ll ruin its pve aspect. Y’all forget this game isn’t balanced around pvp. You got to deal with it.
