Drifter Cutscene - am I over thinking this.
Part of this cutscene has always confused me.
after the taken captain knocks out the Dredgen, the Drifter is laughing and chill and then acts SHOCKED when the taken captain starts to go for him and even says "whoa boy. Easy, Easy now...”.
why was he surprised the taken captain tried to attack him, and why did he try and talk to it. was this an involuntary response?

3 RepliesHe mostly has control over "his" taken. The motes he uses helps him control them. He was shocked that the motes he used to control the Taken Captain had worn off so fast. He talked to it because.. well he's the drifter.
