I would rather get glimmer than prisms. Anyone who farms GM nf knows the struggle.
Not a flex I just can't upgrade anything. (not enough Glimmer.)
Also, not complaining about getting matts from GM's, they are well deserved.
Please increase the stack size for matts. Why isn't everything just 9,999?
Glimmer should be infinite or at least 9,999,999. It should also go straight to your inventory instead of dropping on the ground.

Try masterworking stuff

Edited by Kärlek: 3/29/2021 7:20:15 PMWell, seeing the other replies in this thread, I really dont know what other answers there are. You could try the following: Buy Ascendant Prisms and spend your shards to upgrade your armor. (I happened to notice two of your characters have some pieces of armor that arent masterworked) If you're REALLY struggling you can masterwork all armor that you would use or potentially use (Even if it's in your vault) (for all three characters). You can also buy exotics from the legacy thing by the vault. If I remember correctly it takes three Ascendant shards (30 enhancement Prisms) and an exotic cipher. Now, I dont have this struggle but, somehow I dont think anyone does. There are so many things to spend them on. Personally I think Bungie's energy should be spent elsewhere because the amount of player having your problem is slim to none. However, I am not dismissing your whole problem here, and I genuinely hope you find a solution. People used to complain that Bungie wasn't giving them enough loot... Now people complain for getting too much loot. So many different temperatures in the forums. Best of luck. (:

Use them....stop complaining...goodbye

2 RepliesEdited by Abby_NormaI: 3/26/2021 4:47:46 PMI hate the way they keep people working paycheck to paycheck (not literally, but in the sense we can't work extra hard up front and amass enough to not worry about them in the future) with stack sizes. Who does it hurt to have a billion glimmer, 5,000 enhancement cores, or 40,000 weapon parts in a single stack? Bungie. It's harder to keep us running the hamster wheel when we are, for lack of a better way to put it, working paycheck to paycheck. I don't see memory storage being a legitimate excuse, in a world where terabytes are common a few extra bytes per person isn't crazy even for a multi-million person community. I mean if they REALLY want to split hairs, drop the caps on paying customers. Let $0.20 of our $10.00 season pass fee go to extra inventory counts. Really though, if they're killing shader inventory they already have the capacity for free. It's not about money, it's about modifying your behavior. Just like about everything else in this game.

3 RepliesSo my buddy's and I said the same thing, I decided to gamble and dismantle my enhancement prisms and u only discard 1 at a time, problem solved easy
-
Upgrade a blue armour piece to 8 and delete it to turn one prism into 3 enhancement cores
-
-
I just masterworked a few exotic armour pieces
-
I absolutely cannot stand having to go back to the tower to reset.
-
Yes please!!! I hate that just to rank up I have to master work something.

4 RepliesEdited by Exo-777-: 3/26/2021 8:03:59 PMThey don't like you hording They won't spend money on increasing server space : the real reason I'd happily pay £2:99 a month for unlimited vault space and unlimited mat amounts Loads of other games do it When your monthly sub runs out you just don't have access to it So just pay when you need it Very simple But I sure utter horror and dread will be thrown at this suggestion ESO do it with ESO plus So you have the set amount you can hold within game then you have your ESO plus vault Its very easy to buy a month farm the hell out of the game then re pay when you need to restock or farm more

I love how many people hop on this post with “just spend them” or very obviously condescending or just mean posts. It’s crazy how many super casual players there are that feel they need to try to talk shit to the hardcore or find ways to patronize.
-
7 RepliesOr spend them . . .
-
Same problem. You can’t forget to mention you either delete a stack of 50 or none at all:p
-
Enhance blue armor to level 8 and dismantle. It cost glimmer, 3 cores and 1 prism. When you dismantle it you'll get back 6 cores.
-
I’m having the same issue myself
-
I spend them on golf balls, then infuse the golf balls into those Aeon Gauntlets. I have like 10 pairs of Aeon gauntlets that are master worked for when I need golf balls in the future. There are ways to store your materials, people are just too lazy to do it.

2 RepliesNot to beat a dead horse, but have you considered why Bungie keeps the max at 10 and 50 for Ascendant Shards and Enhancement Prisms, respectively? They probably keep it low to encourage masterworking armor. Not to have a massive stockpile you'll rarely put a dent in. Now, if you have already done the following: -Masterworked all your Exotic armor -Masterworked all your Legendary armor, both in and out of your vault -Max in inventory/vault/postmaster There are two solutions: 1. Find some new armor (Legendary or Exotic) to masterwork 2. Take the time to delete your excess You can't expect Bungie to simply up the max everytime enough players hit the max count. If that was the case, we would have the ability to hold thousands of shards and prisms by now. I've yet to see Bungie address this, so this means either they believe the max count is working as intended or it's not an issue worth addressing considering other more prevalent issues. Bungie doesn't control your inventory day after day. You do. Please consider the intended purpose of the masterwork materials.

Edited by TJ_Dot: 3/27/2021 2:28:27 PMWhy are people seriously wasting their time to insult/patronize you...? Oh wait, i should know already, silly me
-
Edited by Snafu Gundam: 3/27/2021 1:49:26 PMmasterwork something, ya lazy. No glimmer is not an excuse when you can get some from Spider.
-
Just buy the round thing and shut up. We all are having to do it. It’s no big deal and if you can’t figure that out yourself then you don’t need to be playing
-
If you have that much then you either need to invest in different gear and playstyles or take a break from destiny sense it seems you play it way to much.
-
If your truly maxed out on mats then start infusing random bits of legendary armor and putting them in the vault. I fully master armor piece costs 3 prisms and a shard, dismantling it give you 7 prisms which is more then half what you spent. Ain’t no way your going to fill our vault with masterworked armor and even if you did at that point just delete the dang things. You DO NOT need over 1k prisms sitting in your vault. If glimmer is the issue then visit Spider, you should have huge amounts of mats if this is what your complaining about so spend your legendary shards or planetary materials on glimmer.

1 ReplyEdited by Jedi1Mind1Trick: 3/27/2021 4:53:42 AMjesus! start leveling up alot of armor for christ sake!!! you will burn through them in a few pieces!!!! wake up man. burn up those prisms kid OR...or just delete your post cuz no one cares lmao at your thread

4 RepliesGo get yourself some golf balls from banshee and then masterwork some armor.
