Servers are terrible right now

APAC also experiencing server disconnections. I hope they announce a fix soon or at least address the issue. Not even a blip on their socials.

We were doing the GM NF and the enemies, especially overload Champions, were teleporting all over the place. Not "normal" teleport shenanigans. They would just disappear and re-appear 30 feet away with full health. Bungle needs to hire competent network people and stop relying on Peer to Peer networking for game play. It's 12+ years since Halo, stop using the same network methodology.

I played one gambit, smoothy, and the one after: two anver and one weasel and kick out of the game. this last week there's only saturday who was with no problem of connexion, the other day was crap.

Got 3 penalties in comp pvp, what is going on??! game working insanely bad right now, never seen such a bad shape, even when major new DLCs coming.

1 ReplyApparently Luke (his only duty now) forgot to feed the Siberian Hamster that runs in the Wheel that powers their Commodore 64 Server "Farm". So that's why their network has poo'd the bed hard.

Same here, I have been disconnected sitting in orbit with error code not timed out. Just got DC'd from Gambit and BTW I hate the Drifter and his oops you left the match. We aren't frigen kids Bungie and it is vexing when we know it is on either your side or steam or both. I have had friends and clan mates complaining of the same issues. Bungo being cheap and not paying the light bill look at the post master.

Yup, kinda don't wanna join any more gambit matches as got a warning for the last kick. Had one completely lock up for about a minute, then everything happened at once. it was proper crazy.

4 RepliesSame here, just did a Gambit, and just terrible. I got a message that I had left the match before it was completed (I did not leave the Gambit match at all), but won´t be surprised if I get banned. So Bungie, please get your servers to work normal, because now they are very, very, very bad and slow. Just for info, I have a 500 Mbps line, and latency to my ISP server is 9 ms. Ping test to Destiny 2 server EU West, 426 ms.

I've seen nothing but glitches and abysmal network performance/lag since the patch on 3/16/21. 230Mbps internet service and hardwired into the router and enemies just disappear and reappear 30 feet away like a christmas tree with blinking lights.
