So I know this isn’t a new topic, but I just needed to weigh in on something that I think is truly broken in D2. As someone that played a lot of D2 before stepping away for an extended period and finally returning a few months back I have been pleasantly surprised by the changes to D2. I really like most everything that has been adjusted and updated since I left. Including the armor mods... which I think is one of the best things that was incorporated into the game to allow play style and customization changes. But I have to say, the fact that so many mods are completely unavailable to me and I still can’t get them is an absolute fail on Bungie’s part. We have one vendor that sells one mod per day... and many of the best mods have not been available since I started playing again over 4 months ago. I get to watch content creators playing the game in a way I am not able to. Or teammates in strikes doing things I can’t. Not because I haven’t taken the time to play or beat an activity. No... because Bungie hasn’t made some basic content available to everyone that paid for the game and wants to play the best end game content. It’s really sad and kind of pathetic to see how short sighted the implementation of this (good) system is. There is really no reason not to make this content available to everyone playing the game... these are mods that should be attainable. Put them in a kiosk... give them to all the vendors... or just add them to collections that everyone can chose which ones they want. It’s so simple really... we’re not talking about armor or weapons. These are mods... make them easily available so everyone playing the game can actually enjoy the content in the game.
