Edit: PSA: Check shader cache after downloading a new driver update, it seems like it can be automatically turned back on. And if you always had it on, well go turn it off.
Out of nowhere my game has become unstable and I haven't done anything to the game or my PC since I last played a few days ago. I'm getting tons of stutters which results in huge dips in FPS, and I'm also getting black screens when I load into activities.
Restarting my game and/or my PC doesn't fix it.
I have tried capping my FPS at various numbers and the stutters/dips continue to happen.

Thanks for the all help! So for some reason shader cache was turned on when I swear I had it off. Updating drivers must turn it back on or something. But I disabled it and now no more stuttering/FPS dips! :). PSA: Check shader cache after downloading a new driver update. It seems like it can be automatically turned back on.

Edited by Vincent: 3/1/2021 9:54:25 PMDon't worry it has something to do with steam and bungie they are looking into this Btw never go to outskirts in the edz you always crash there lol Maybe try disable shader cache in nvidia control panel and then reboot your pc

Same problem here a lot of stutter in the character menu and in the equipments menu , also cant join any activities, the game lock me on a white or black screen then Destiny 2 close himself.

Same problem with me. I am using amd gpu and also complain about it. But seems like no one is listening here

2 RepliesSame GPU, same issue. If you know a streamer, tell them to talk about it, otherwise Bungie wont care about it.

Try turning off the Shader Cache in the driver control panel, reboot and play again.
