transmog arbitrary grinding
so we have to work for things we already have, to use them again, didnt we just have this issue with sunsetting? and your not even bringing all weapons back.
hmmm. dont like that. if i find armor i should be able to just use it or the looks. there's already alot of seasonal grinding in this game.
oh but i get it i dont wanna grind so i can purchase with silver aye.
so dumb.

Is the time commitment per ornament known now? I think we should wait to see before judging it. For me, I know I'm going to be doing this for a while so I'm not too worried. I'll eventually have my ornaments for all prestige levi sets. That's just cool. I'm fine that takes me a week per item not busting ass... just doing weekly things

Nah this isnt something to complain about. Transmog is huge for the fashion aspect of this game as long as you can reasonably do it through means within the game. Otherwise it's purely cosmetic, not really an issue

Transmog requires some form of work in any game that has it. Even if it's just as simple as charging a small amount of currency/resources there is some sort of cost. Fashion is a large part of a lot of players time, adding some sort of cost gives those players something to work for and most of the time they're happier for it. (In my experience, though most feedback I've seen for transmog systems come from goal oriented endgame players, could be different for the majority of a more casual playerbase.)

They’re literally implementing a new system that lets you use whatever appearance you want on any bucket of crap you pick up off a dead Thrall and you want to complain about it? We don’t even know yet what the grind to get it done will be like. At least wait to see how difficult it is before you start complaining.

1 ReplyTypically, I would agree, but like, really? Bounties aren't hard. If anything I prefer this, as that it gives Ada 1 a use in the game, which is always something good. If you ask me, it's a non-issue. If this, after that massive positive info drop is what you complain about, then I'm happy.

8 RepliesThis. Literally every other game that has transmog let’s you equip anything you have acquired right then and there. No busywork or grinding to use something you already own. Want to say I wasn’t surprised that they did this but I was still surprised.

As long as you can effectively and efficiently do it by just playing the game, it won’t be an issue. Just don’t make silver the end all be all if you want to customize to the fullest extent....

3 RepliesYeah it feels a bit weird to have to advertise "If you don't have time then pay!" Like that's not just outing a scam where they create a problem and sell the solution. I do like the fact that transmog needs to be grinded, but at the same time I hate how the game needs to be monetized in every way it can. Like even getting a transmog token for every weekly powerful completion or something would've been nice, anything more and it feels created to monetize.
