Bungie your Playlist weapon drop rates suck bump them up
How are we supposed to farm for Playlist weapons when the drop rates are so abysmal, I work FT, have a kid, and chemo Treatments I don't have the time to do 40 runs before I get a drop. Making things drop every 50 or so runs isn't content, I'd be more apt to play stuff if drop rates didn't suck so bad....

What is the big deal with bottom dollar....it drops all the time for me. I pretty much delete it every time. The only weapons that never drop for me are ooto weapons that are meta. I suck at crucible and never win so drops for trials, and I gave up on getting the Trials hand cannon cause I keep getting trash all the time One of the reasons I never play Raids is because of "special weapon" drop rates. Getting the mytho took about 3 months, and by the time I got it I didnt even want it any more...it just sits in my vault.

8 RepliesWhy do people complain about drop rates so much? I mean damn its more rewarding and satisfying when you finally get the weapon. I can honestly say after nearly 40 gambit matches when I had my first and only bottom dollar drop, it was the most excitement I have had in this game since D1 when the Ghallijorn dropped for me.

Honestly it doesn't feel any worse than the strike specific drop rates in D1. I remember running 50-60 strikes before I dropped a Hopscotch and it was maybe every 15-20 runs for a Grasp, Darkblade's Spite or Imago Loop. For god's sake, not everything needs to be handed out every other completion, these were meant to be more rare drops.

9 RepliesBest part is..... it was on purpose. They literally said the drop rates are low and the perk pool is massive. This is the worse combination you could have for weapon farming. You could farm the entire season and never get your roll and that’s using just 2 perks. You want all 5 god roll? Might as well just buy a lotto ticket, your chances might actually be better.

Was better when we had quests for pinnacles in gambit, strikes and crucible ... or frames like in forges or menagerie ... that was fun RNG with so many perks mmmm ...this new gambit is boring compared to prime an the suits, less maps ... and strikes, they sunset so many, not much variety .. They know possible good rolls, think they could make them drop more often ... so that we can enjoy the weapons before new weapons catch our attention . Also, thought the Divinity quest was awesome, rng for the exotic of the raid is awful, met people with over 50 LW runs who wouldn’t get 1k ...

Been playing gambit for 4 hours, with my ghost setup on prosperity perk to increase legendary drops, amd it feels worthless. These developers never put themselves in our shoes when it comes to grinding.

For bottom dollar using my drop rates which was 4/100. To get a perfect god roll would be 1/9 for barrel, 1/4 for masterwork, 1/7 for mag, and 2 1/12 for perks for a total of 1/36,288 now combine that with my drop rates and 1/907,200. So i will take anything with slideshot.

Been doing gambit just for pinnacle drops and haven’t seen a single Bottom Dollar. Looked at light.gg for possible rolls and I’m sure the chances of me getting what I want (Rapid hit/kill clip) are below 1% 😂

4 RepliesI think the perfect amount of games for a drop is 8 to 20. it would not be too easy to get and not nearly as rare as it is now. we do have random rolls so drops should be more frequent versus a static roll gun.

I would rather them fix the mod system. I would love to get combat style mods before Bungie needs them but Banshee never has them.

Reset infamy 5x not a single decent bottom dollar. Friend joins. First game: rangefinder and rampage. Second game: rangefinder and explosive payload. There’s no grind. Destiny is nothing more than a CASINO.

Here here! And this definitely includes Iron Banner. I can't for the life of me understand why Bungie is so stingy. It's been like this for seven years. Just loosen the purse strings already. We will still play if we get good rolls on weapons and armor.

It shouldn't be handed out for free.. but yeah, I get it not e veryone has time, myself included but when I do I enjoy the chase. Also outside of bottom dollar drops are pretty frequent

I grinded for hours, every day, for like a year (or however long it was that it was king), not one dropped. Ever. There will be people who say “that’s just bad luck, earn it like I did”, but that’s easy to say when you scored lucky early on. After literally being shunned from raiding parties because of my crap luck I just decided to play the game and stop chasing ghosts. It’s better than slamming your head into the wall over and over.

They are aware of their trash loot system and are once again fixing it later. Imagine that and being told they will stop -blam!-ing you out of your sunset gear and pitching that as progress. 🤣

I'm with you good sir I work a lot of hours in go to school so I rarely get time to play and when I do nothing ever drops the game is still fun but it would be nice to get some cool rewards
