PvE: Anarchy, Xenophage, Divinity, Lament, Eriana's Vow, Salvager's Salvo, Heritage, First In Last Out PvP: The Steady Hand, Bottom Dollar, Igneous Hammer, Dead Man's Tale, Felwinter's Lie If you have these, you're pretty much good for anything.

120s are great in pvp but awful in pve. Sidearms are incredibly good in pve but mediocre in pvp because of shotguns. If you can get the trials pulse with Desperado and then have LoW thats probably the best loadout for pvp and pve.

For pvp if you want the most optimal and easy to access gun combo, I'd say felwinter's from legacy kiosk as an energy shottie and do the adored guest for an energy sniper (the blue aachen sniper from collections is a good free option to do the quest with, has a low-ish zoom and snapshot). Then kinetic slot primary, I'd actually argue Thorn's the most competetive option that as a bonus you can easily get since exotic. Consistent 2h1b since almost everybody's only running t5 resilience in this meta which isn't enough to counter thorn's damage over time (needs t6 to counter). Almost capped handling equals in-built quickdraw. The effecive range is good enough with the DoT compensating for damage dropoff. Pairs really well with both felwinters and adored. And outguns so many 120s users with the higher 140 rpm while still needing only 2 heads and 1 body to 3-tap. There's alotta other good guns, but the above's what I'd recommend if I had to pick a single loadout that's extremely effective and easily accessible. Ace of spades, sturm and no time to explain are other extremely strong and accessible kinetic primary exotics.

Pve I like the sepra auto with warmind cell mods. Erianas Vow and usually a sword or that new solar rocket launcher, It’s a flippin beast. New sub in the primary is good and comes with great pve rolls as well. Pvp is simple...Monte Carlo or gnawing hunger a sidearm and a rocket launcher with tracking. Lots of good pvp combos at the moment though. Welcome back!

Primary - Dead mans tale (exotic) Secondary- Salvagers salvo (legendary seasonal) Heavy- any legendary rocket launcher.

PvE - The battlegrounds weapons are great (smg and sidearm for your primary) and rocket launcher heavy. The wrathborne hunts allow you to focus farm certain weapons (wave frame grenade launcher is maybe the most unique). The ritual grenade launcher is amazing. On top of those I would say the raid weapons and the best overall and something you should aim for when you’re at the appropriate level. Slug shotguns are also a great dps option so if you get one with vorpal and auto loading holster then definitely keep it. PvP - Honestly the weapons are pretty balanced so use what you want in terms of primary. You can do a quest to farm hawkmoon which is great. 120 rpm handcannons are meta. Shotgun is felwinter’s lie which you can buy from the kiosk (use you exotic cypher there) and the best sniper is maybe the ritual sniper (adored). If you’re not a handcannon guy then No Time to Explain pulse is good and 600 rpm autos. Trials also has a couple of great weapons. Honestly, there are so many options but I’ve just highlighted the stand out ones and easy to farm ones.
