The stupidity of the new reset level reward system.
If you do not “need” items like enhancement prisms or ascendant shards because you are at max and have nothing to upgrade...you can not reset your valor.
Either change the amount you can hold or let the items go to the postmaster!

What would be cool is if you could disassemble those items to get planetary materials, cores, glimmer, whatever works. I feel like everything used to upgrade gear should all belong to its own economy of sorts, and be intertwined together to be multifunctional.

Agreed. I had to level up some gear I’ll never use to pick up the prisms so I could pick up the exotic. This needs re worked. We shouldn’t need to claim everything to reset our rank.

I wish Bungie would raise the cap for those items. I dislike having to spend prisms on random stuff just so I can make space to collect them from a vendor to reset my rank.

It's not the perfect fix, but you can masterwork and stash junk exotic armor that you can dismantle later to get a golf ball and some shards back. That's what I did when Lake of Shadows had double grandmaster rewards and I still have plenty of resources from back then.

I swear what was it a couple years ago that everybody here was complaining about the stinginess of the items, now they're driving like candy and y'all find something else to complain about.

The thing I hate the most about it is having to go back to the tower every time you need to reset....really annoying with a stacks when double valor is up

See maybe they should add in the ability to downgrade the items. So u can turn the golf balls in for ten of the shards of whatever I mix them up all the time. And then one of those for ten of the next one. Which might be helpful, I had like 20 of the second level shards but none of the first which I needed for something I don't remember what tho

I’m glad that they are a thing. I never have to go through the pain of lfg master nightfalls. I do wish you could skip rewards though.

1 ReplyHopefully they’ll let us turn prisms into cores, I had to go to rahool and buy a few engrams and dump prisms into some crap armour just to make room.
