Bottom Dollar Drop rate is TO LOW
Has anyone else had this issue?
I have done 98 games of Gambit this season so far (kill me) and I have not had a Single drop of bottom dollar...
Bungie you either need to give us the ability to farm this Via engrams (at a minimum... But that itself is an awful idea as I have to do battlegrounds) OR you need to massively increase the drop rate!
With the amount of possible rolls on this gun.. I really don't want my first drop to be an awful one.

have some self respect and stop doing the activity. that rng is dogshit. Bungie did this specifically to get more players to do an uninteresting activity. Instead of making it more fun, they just provided the miniscule chance of it actually being rewarding to play. Don't enable that sort of development; they'll just keep doing the same bs

they are buffing the drop rates for the playlist weapons so don't worry also man I think the playlist weapons have the biggest perk pools in the game

2 RepliesHave you guys tried the ghost mods that add chance to drop additional legendary items...they seem to work pretty well for me but rngesus might be on my side as well.

What's up with the reload time on the 120's? 8 in the mag and such a slow reload. Horrible to use in pve without a reload perk or a mod that costs 4 to use in your arms slot which then means you can't use unstoppable and barrier mod at the same time.

Working as intended you played 98 games of gambit (you didnt really) thats what bungie wants to fill lobbies not hand out guns.

1 ReplySo annoyed with this, especially with the twab talking up this weapon... sounded like it may actually exist or something. Got one in my third gambit match, it was an awful roll so I sharded it instantly. Haven't seen it since. I don't even like gambit but I really like hand cannons. Thanks to Bungie for making yet another cool weapon and taunting us that it's cool while it doesn't actually drop much. Also haven't seen Shadow Price or the Third Axiom drop ever. I've been playing quite a bit too, with all my characters at 1300ish. Still don't have Eyes of Tomorrow either. Drop rates are stupid across the board.

6 RepliesDoes no one remember trying to farm eyesluna god rolls from crucible post game drops? I played 40ish games this weekend and I believe I had 4-5 drop. This is a “chase” weapon. Gives me a reason to actually grind this season. Last season when gnawing hunger was king, and you could pull 10-20 different rolls per day with umbrals, everyone had the god roll. It wasn’t special. It took me 25 nightfalls to get my first palindrome. I was so excited to have it drop. When it’s up again, I’ll grind for a better roll. Sucks that you haven’t gotten one, but I don’t want to see it be super readily available without a real grind.

With sun setting these rates really should increase.

Please take a break. For the sake of your sanity, please take a break. Bungie plays around with the drop rates so that somethings will drop for you and others won’t. It’s another way of time-gating content by preventing you from brute-forcing the loot table. (Irony. The nightfall specific speeder was dropping more often than Palindromes were in the NF.) So odds are the weapon isn’t going to drop for you this week no matter what you do.

Maybe it just felt like 100?! I can see that being a real feeling! Please don’t mistake that comment as taking a shot at you. I’m really not trying to be a jerk, but the drop rate really doesn’t feel all that bad.

7 RepliesI played a ton and reset my rank and haven't come across one yet. I mean why is any drop rate this low if sunsetting exists? And the gun has an absolutely MASSIVE perk pool. By the time I get whatever I'm looking for it'll be sunset. 😒

I'm at Mythic 3 about to reset for a 2nd time and have had 5 drop total.
