Drop rates of newer weapons a little low?
Anyone feel like guns such as frozen orbit, the keening, etc. are very rare drops? Been playing crucible with my buddies all weekend and neither one of us seem to be getting any related drops. Anyone else feel like this?

All playlist items are dropping way too little, especially considering how many perks are available. With as many perks as they have, you should have even more drops happening.

Additionally, some weapons don't show up in collections. I got the Eternal Blazon scout rifle earlier today, and it didn't appear in my collections at all (except the year 1 version).

4 RepliesBlame the Destinytubers for that since they whine so much on being bored at the game they're the ones grinding to max power cap while others like us are falling behind or have other things to do in life. So to get the guns you get a slow drop chance of them on Adept and Hero. Bungie is forcing you to max level to 1300 to get the guns that you want but alot of us aren't there yet to 1310. It's ridiculous that Bungie doesn't listen to the community but they'd rather listen to Destinytubers and streamers instead.

5 RepliesWait until you do nightfalls for Palendrome. I’ve done heroic dozens of time and got two garbage rolls. I get to the point where I’m hating playing this game because the loot drops are abysmal. I was going to do the raid and most of my pinnacles on all three characters but now I really don’t give a shit. The lack of loot has completely ruined the fun for me. 😑

The perk pools are so large that they could guarantee a drop at the end of every match and the odds you get a roll you want are astronomically low... like 1/5000. Even if you just care about the last two it’s like 1/3000.

Edited by Lemon: 2/18/2021 12:14:03 AMThe first week, ran NF almost the whole week and got only one AR, this week, ran a few, didn't get anything but that damn sparrow, even legend NF did not drop any, where it should be common to get. The drop rate for these weapons seems a little too low for the effort. At least make it drop once or twice per run from legend if it's that much work to put on, wondering what will happen with the GM adept versions.

For gambit and vanguard weapons yes but I've gotten a decent amount of the crucible weapons.

They want us to farm the 1330 versions. Once we get of that level, the drop rate should be significantly better. As for the crucible and gambit weapons, i find losing gives me better chances for some reason.

Agreed. I like auto rifles Got one shadow price after grinding night fall and vanguard strikes for a long time. The roll was ok. But really want to keep grinding to get a better roll. But it just not dropping.

My first frozen orbit had QuickDraw/moving target and almost max range. I’ve had some fun with it so far. I also got a pve stars and shadows with feeding frenzy/kill clip. Everything else has been bad rolls.

I get exotics more often than I get the guns to drop. They seriously need to be less rare it's insane.
