Seriously I’m at 1270 and before the update I still couldn’t beat the first area of 1250 without dieing all three times...the enemies hit way to hard and my damage does nothing to them. Even at 1270.
To clarify this was my light level for the 1250,1280 lost sectors. Not as they are now.

They would be fine with much higher drop rates for the new exotic armor, but it's no fun running them 10 times in a day and getting nothing, while friends get the armor to drop on their first run.
-
Fine with me. I feel like the difficulty of them is tuned very well for what it is. One must git gud enuff to akwire eggzotix
-
If you're running the right setup they should be a breeze.
-
I really hope bungie doesn’t read this, because the only thing that needs changing here is your gear.
-
It would be fine if the difficuly of the event was not built around getting one shot but rather around the game mechanics themselves.
-
I don't think you know what unpopular means.
-
I love them. They’re great for getting specific exotics and farming god rolls.
-
I’m glad there is a targeted way to get the new armor. Otherwise I’m one of those guys who never has the new stuff drop.
-
Bungie seems to be doing a poor job of incentivizing and rewarding the everyday Joe. I think they are trying. They're just not finding the right mark. I think in general the game is, to easy. I also think cranking enemy AI up to: crack-shot, never miss, never flinch isn't the way to go. I hate this scaling bull they came up with. Encounters need sliders based on fireteam members. I really believe there is a way bungie could please everyone instead of what we have currently. That sweet-spot is way to small at present.

I did the garden 2A lost sector in 10 mins consistently while being 30 under light. Took me 5 runs but I got the chest piece for my warlock. It is definitely possible to get it done.
-
It wouldn’t be opposed to it if we could at least grind it with friends or if solo players at least got a buff in some way so its doable for players that don’t want the hustle. I liked it better when exotics would drop from the world or when xur used to be the one to hand me new exotics like he would in D1.

Edited by SaltyCamper21: 2/11/2021 8:22:51 PMI personally love it. If there’s a piece of gear I want, I just wait for it to land in a sector and go grind it out. Hell even last night for fun i did the 1300 LS while being at 1280. Sure it took 21 minutes. Don’t take it personal, but I think you’ve got something set up wrong on either gear or strat. The last week of the hunt I ran the 1250 no more than 12 times and pulled 5 helms just to get possible better rolls and at 5:48 each run, I’ll take it
-
I worked on the loadouts and watched videos. Eventually could do all of them fairly comfortably. Never in the 5/6 mins but in the 8/12 min! I do agree with you though, it’s a way for their stats to show people using lost sectors as people had more or less binned them. We’re being manipulated again.

4 Repliesseriously, wait for Bunker 15, then run till you get it, not that hard, hell the little helpers will kill everything for you (except Champions) even the Hydra boss if you let them
-
1 ReplyHow are you dying so much?
-
10 RepliesI was a fan of it at first. But I have to agree with you at this point. Bungie's approach to end-game "difficulty" outside of raids and dungeons is terrible. The content is tedious and tilting, rather than challenging.
-
A counter to this is once you've earned the said exotic it doesn't go in to the regular loot pool. You aren't changing how they are initially earned but giving people the option to get potentially better rolls instead of doing 11 LS and getting 2 drops and mostly cores and glimmer.
-
7 RepliesI’d prefer they were random world drops. Not that lost sectors are hard, they’re boring actually. I’d like to play what I like and get a surprise drop every now and then. No way I’m repeating a pve activity over and over for it. It’s not worth it.
-
Its dumb asf , I understand it having high drops but heck even doing spider bounties were a semi fun source of em during Forsaken
-
Unlike the other git gud posters, even tho you guys are such terrible buttcheeks at Lost Sectors, I think they do need a remedial way to get you these exotics
-
4 RepliesThe problem is not lost sectors and targeted loot. The problem is champions gate-keeping every activity in the game. They are just not a fun mob mechanic to interact with.
-
2 RepliesEdited by RoninPhoenix650: 2/11/2021 5:31:30 PMI agree but not for the same reasons. I just don’t like a rotating source being the main way to farm them. Maybe it’s a downside to having every single pre beyond light exotic but I don’t want to have to check everyday for if the one I need is even possible, then have to farm the thing like 20 times before I get one to drop.
-
Same, plus honestly exotics just don't feel the same as they did in D1. There are a ton, lot of them just literally given away, and the ones you end up liking, end up just getting nerfed.
-
The main issue in my opinion is the fact that, due to a change in day, we lose our artifact and roughly half of our progress towards the level.
-
I love it. They should stop giving out loot for free.
-
They were not hard to beat, you just need to be prepared for the champions
