Alternate way to spend Mod Components
Please give an alternate use or trade item for mod components. You can earn tons of these and quickly have all the mods from other high drops like iron banner rank ups and nightfalls. Eventually, there is absolutely no where in the game to spend these. I have several thousand now with no use.

Edited by meatballsublime: 2/4/2021 10:34:23 PMYou have to be careful what you ask for. Bungie will increase the cost of mods by 10x or start adding mod components to the cost of upgrade modules or masterworking. These types of requests never go well by the time you get to "We're listening."

1 ReplyMight as well add phantasmal fragments to mod components in there too. If the lectern doesn't get updated they have no use either. I'd love to buy raid banners, upgrade modules, shards, cores, prisms, ascendant shards, Even planetary materials or glimmer. Just something usefull to use most of them up.

3 Repliesah another Mod Component post. they are not listening, many before you, even me have posted this broken economy. All I can say is delete while your going to the tower, delete while your going anyhwere, to help keep them in check. Or vault them and take up valuable space.

Edited by Phoenix: 2/5/2021 6:28:32 PMI've been micromanaging mine to not exceed 600. Deleted from 710 to 567 with ups and downs in quantity over the past weeks. Got rid of my two whole stacks when Machine Gun Scavenger was bugged at Banshee's. Man, it was a relief.

An alternative to glimmer for applying mods. 500 glimmer or x amount of mod Components. This would keep them at least aligned with their initial intent.

This whole freaking time, I had know clue what mod components were used for. Just found out you can use it to make mods for weapons and armour.

1 ReplyDon’t you have to do the bounties to get them, or is the other sauces to get them?. For me I’m now collecting the Charged with Light mods, and I’m always have a low amount components to buy them. I think they should just increase glimmer costs of everything, and also have an exchange from any material to glimmer.

Give Spider a new exchange for mod components or let’s trade them with Banshee for Glimmer or weapon parts. Anything would be better than having deal with deleting them one by one.
