Hawkmoons disappeared when sent to vault?!?!?!

I sent all the hawkmoons I had to the vault which was 3 in total and 2 of them have just disappeared why is this? I want my hawkmoons back 😫 or at least the material I would get for dismantling them ugh....

Search your other characters. If you are using DIM, your vault is full and you attempt to transfer items, it will move some gear from the vault to another character to free the needed space for the moved item.
