Its absurd that hand cannons can match Mida range

  • Be specific. 140s are in a great spot but 120s are straight up out of line. They make 140s redundant and Scouts and Pulses straight up useless

  • They cant though. Mida can shoot across 60 meters without falloff. 120 with 100 range have falloff at 40 meters.

    • Well the Range of short Range Weapons especially HC's is completly broken in Comparison to the Map Sizes. On that Maps it should not be more than 5m to fit the unrealistic Ratio. Main Problem is that the Maps are too small. You simply have a rare chance to be in opt. Rifle Distance but out of Range of the short Range Weapons. Most Maps simply are not made for Scout and Impulse Rifles. HC Range would be fine on maps minimum Size like the old Equinox Map. Vostok was just fine too. But for now you better play just boring Meta 120s.

        Try putting more distance between you and your target. *Oops forgot say this isn't a serious post. We really do need some long range maps.

      • 540 pulses, 390 pulses and 450 pulses even...... Scouts are outdone even by 120 hand cannons!

        Main problem with 120 hand cannons is the zoom. You get pulse rifle range with the minimum zoom of a sidearm and mida-like aim assist. The best of everything. They are sort of balanced by the second time to kill, but as soon as they get any damage buff what so ever (very easy with charged light mods) they turn into 0.5s ttk 2 tap monsters. No other weapon in the game can half it’s time to kill with the slightest little damage buff. Makes it a great dueling weapon at any range. At 45-50m the reticle dot is bigger then the target head and it can still spam crits. Hand cannons with 40-50m range should require a high zoom scope to balance them.

      • If it matches MIDA, you were probably in hand cannon range, not scout rifle range.

        • Hand cannons need to be nerfed into the ground honestly. Theyve been meta for years and everytime something can compete with it, they get nerfed for no reason

          • Not all hand cannons just 120’s. Also they did need to buffed because they were not really usable prior to this season.

            • I just got and have been grinding the MIDA catalyst. I’ve also been using Thorn pretty much constantly since getting Necrotic Grips. MIDA clearly out ranges any hand cannon I can think of (except maybe Erianas idk)

            • It’s a 4-5 tap at Mida range for 120 rpm hcs If you can’t get four Mida shots at 200rpms by then that’s on you.

            • If AA wasn’t tied with Range less people would use 120’s... the intrinsically high Range/ AA does all the work for you.
