So I recently cross saved my pc to my PlayStation. I purchased the beyond light dlc on the PlayStation but did not receive it on pc. Am I seriously supposed to pay 100$ just to have 1 dlc on 2 platforms when my progress is saved between them. If anybody can confirm that I have to buy the dlc again, that would be great

1 ReplyWhen you buy DLC, you're making a purchase with the platform company, and they grant a license to access that DLC on their platform only—other platforms want their sales as well. As such, Cross Save can not be used to transfer these licenses to a different platform; they must be purchased on each platform that you want to access that content on. Please refer to the Cross Save FAQ for more information on how Cross Save works and its limitations. https://www.bungie.net/7/en/CrossSave
Do my previous game purchases transfer across platforms? Destiny 2 expansions (ex: Forsaken, Shadowkeep) do not transfer between platforms with Cross Save. Destiny 2 Season Passes (ex: Season of the Undying) do move between platforms on the characters they were redeemed on.
Yes you will need to pay Sony to play the expansion(s) there, the payment to Steam was only for their platform
