Sunsetting kills Player morale in this game you want us to chase gear and weapons that will expire like milk
Very upset Bungie seems to think this is the best decision for this game.
Imagine you worked hard to get that god roll weapon to use in end game activities and you got it really late then boom expires in a month. This whole concept makes players really question why am i even going after these guns. Time goes by really fast and before you know it half your arsenal sunset without any viable replacement. Next season all season of dawn weapons gone that's 22 guns down the drain and a lot of good guns don't matter anymore. It's a hamster wheel grind that fatigues players and the majority of the community is against it but I guess when people leave to play other games and no longer care about this game then maybe you would consider when it is too late to gain them back.

2 Replies22 guns I stopped using in season of worthy. Can’t wait for them to be sunset. Game evolves, things change, time moves forward. Don’t like it? Go play a single player game where you can pause and nothing changes.

I flat out won't chase loot that's gonna be made obsolete in a year. It's a waste of time. Especially considering i'm not the sort that thinks grind is fun. Add to that the fact that everything is old content and reissued loot I already earned many times over and you have a game that i find hard to feel motivated to play.

No point in getting good rolls of legendaries that aren't some sort of DPS weapon, such as the Ikelos Sniper or First in Last Out. Especially since it seems like they are going away from damage boosting perks on legendaries anyways. The game is shifting away from what it used to be. It's no longer a game where you grind god rolls.
