Is sunsetting worth it if no one plays the game?

If it's whatLuke Smith wants Bungie will say yes even if it left the game with 0 players.

I mean, technically you can still use any sunsetted weapon...... My blast furnance still shreds in regular pvp. There are some god rolls i will never dismantle.

21 RepliesIt could have been done better. I get for technical reasons why it was done, and the game does run better. But... It creates a level of apathy it seems. Why bother masterworking anything if in a few seasons it’s not a viable option? At the very least, Whatever weapons are back into the pool for that season, if you have a sunset version of that weapon in the vault, you should absolutely be able to infuse that weapon.

If "no one plays the game" I must be seeing ghosts in the zones I occupy, and in the Tower. So many ghosts. They can't possibly be real players because "no one plays the game".

4 RepliesMMO: Massively Multiplayer Online Six-player fireteams, no in-game communication (on consoles anyway), no in-game LFG, patrol fireteams limited to three... There’s nothing massive, and very little multiplayer about this so-called MMO.

The real question is: was making all our efforts and investments redundant worth it if less PAY for the game. It's all about the $$$. We can estimate but we're not privy to that. If you pay for it you help sustain the hamsterwheel treatment we're getting.
