Many of these mods are integral to the strongest and most popular builds in the game, and yet the only way to get most of the mods essential to them is to hope that banshee is selling them that day.
This is not a good way to do things. I feel no reason to use warmind cells, because I didn't play during season of the worthy, and now I don't have the mods that make them good. If I hadn't played during dawn or arrivals, I might feel much the same about charged with light, and yet, I still want to use warmind cells, because I know they're good. Everyone who talks pve builds knows how strong they are.
I propose that there should be some way to go after more specific mods, or at least having a way of getting more than two possible mods to drop from banshee. Like bounties. Most people don't use Banshee's bounties to get upgrade modules since they're so cheap nowadays, I don't see why they couldn't be repurposed to drop mods.
Edit: Since a lot of people seem to think this is about wanting handouts, let it be known, I don't care about them being hard to get, I care about them being so inconsistent to get.
These are game changing mods, with abilities on the level of exotic perks. Entire builds are made around these mods. New players have no way to get them other than praying banshee sells them, and that is where the problem arises. I don't care if they're hard to get, they just need to be more consistent to get.

2 RepliesThe real question is why are these mods even still usable? We aren't in those seasons anymore
Many of these mods are integral to the strongest and most popular builds in the game
1. I use the charged with light mods with protective light aka get out of jail free card and that's it. Its not that special or good to be honest as the damage resistance is quite bad. 2. My warlock is using the warmind stuff and honestly I am not a fan of randomly seeing a orb and shooting the thing to kill a few adds and burn a few others. Whilst it can be good, depends on how you do it. 3. Ever since mods were a thing I have never used a build made my someone else. Why is that? Because I want to make a build that I know and can use. Simple steps. Damage resistance, check Ammo perks, check Steady aim/ better reload, check Champ mods, check Seasonal mods, check. This is basically my go to setup and it last all season every season. You don't have to use a build someone else made, it's not crucial to the endgame.

8 RepliesWell, warmind cells will be sunset once we pass 1360 so.... yeah.
-
1 ReplyBanshee just sold one this week.
-
5 RepliesWeapons with solar splash damage produce warmind cells as well. For example xenophage.
-
2 RepliesOh well. Should have got them in their season.
-
8 RepliesRankup packages from banshee, vanguard, crucible and Gambit can award them, simply just playing gives enough ways to earn these. I never played when warmind cells came on but between this season and last I've obtained them all through the packages.
-
1 ReplyIf there was a way to get the mods from previous seasons on a more regular or permanent basis it would kind of defeat the FOMO concept that’s been instilled with the Seasonal model. That’s not gonna happen.
-
Sunsetting exists. There's your fix.
-
So you're upset that mods that are on content already almost out the door can't be obtained in the newest season?
-
15 RepliesThey want us to use the **new** stuff.
-
50 RepliesYou get a lot of trophies just for showing up, don’t you?
-
33 RepliesYou could have gotten all of them by playing. Only lazy and new people didnt get them in the season of the warmind and dawn.
-
they should increase the number of mods he randomly sells each day to two or three. much better odds and none of the handouts
-
1 ReplyIn collections it says they are earned through rank up with the gun Smith. All they need to do is make that true. Then I would be able to cash in those 10,000 weapon parts I’ve had sitting in my vault for years 😂
-
1 ReplyThey should sell past seasonal mods in the kiosk for lost lights. Give them a reasonably inexpensive price or sell for mod components.
-
I hear ya. It's true. It was mind numbingly boring unlocking all those mods... I only unlocked half of them. I occasionally kick my self for limiting my playstyle now. Then I remember the seasonal garbage cycle and I admire those who took the time. This game has some seriously dedicated players. Level three or four hundred. It's crazy. I'm 155 maybe... and a casual. The sheer dedication shown this game has made it bullet-proof and just guarantees it will never improve. Sadly, Destiny will never reach its' destiny. There's just no motivation on bungies' part.
-
For the warmind mods im going to assume its because they originally sunset all the seraph weapons so there were probably no plans to make it so those mods could be acquired. Then they have just dumped it all back in the lootpool and the mods in the banshee rotation
-
Bungie has looked at this and decided they’ll just gonna remove them
-
I wouldn't worry too much about it. They'll get vaulted or sunset soon more than likely.
-
8 RepliesImagine not playing the game then complaining you don't have the loot from the seasons you missed.
-
1 ReplyGuessing you weren't around for D1......
-
2 RepliesI have every seasonal mod, yet i never bought one from banshee. I dont see were the problem is.
-
And here is the FOMO after effects.
-
Yeah my niece just started playing and she has no way to get anything other than pure luck and lots and lots of waiting. I dont see why we can't just up and buy whatever mod we want at this point? Of have special bounties for a specific mod? Such easy solutions for these problems and yet here we are....

I say they should alter the drop tables so that we can get those other mods. Cease of the worthy, I didn't really do everything. I maxed out Earth but when the moon came, that very next week we had IO so I kind of just dropped everything. I did see just the other day maybe two or three days ago that we had a warmind cell mod they do drop but it's rare. Warmind cell builds are bananas let me tell you... Just because they drop, you take less damage, you deal more damage (great for doing activities under leveled), you shoot it and enemies burst into flames and can get hit with void. You can pick them up and spark with arc energy. You can also increase the range at which the enemies are affected. If you have any of them, experiment. They are fun.
