Being able to instantly switch builds would be cool.

2 RepliesCause it’s stupid a normal player goes through new weapons every week and the way the meta changes. Having save load outs is pointless when you just want to switch one gun.
-
It isn’t actually pathetic that’s isn’t in game. I’m sure the division got it midway though the first game.

Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 12/31/2020 1:04:58 PMProbably because these basic functions have been missing for so long that the third party community sites have tried to fill in. So why waste developer resources now when they can't even manage the core content adequately with what they have? The bethesda syndrome. Mods'll fix it. All that's missing's the attempt to monetize them.

Edited by blade329: 12/31/2020 10:31:11 AMDestiny 2 is outdated. The player interface is a relic that hasn't been updated in years. That's why I don't consider this a AAA franchise. It's either laziness or lack of talent. In the year 2020 how can you not have a mass delete function and load out saves? How? The Division is light years better than Destiny, when it comes to the player menus. Load out saves, mass delete/selling functions, each character can carry 150 items, you can access your stash from multiple areas, gear crafting, you can even change the shader for all your items with one click. That's just basic stuff you would expect from a game. Bungie should be downright embarrassed.

Edited by Necrogen: 12/31/2020 11:12:14 AMI really don't know but what I DO know is The Dust Palace is lost to us again. Back in Cabal hands. Word is they've let Psion Flayers out of their cages, to dig around in the Central AI's cortex. Which means, they really want what's buried in there. If Rasputin was protecting it, it's valuable. We've got to flush those Flayers out.

2 RepliesBecause this game’s engine is older than 95% of the player base.

Edited by Yosemite Sam: 12/29/2020 11:31:03 PMDude, have you not been looking at this game to see how this game is lacking in just about every aspect of it? This company can't even update just vendors at the tower properly and you are asking them to do what again? Hell, it took them 4 years just to give a smidge of what D1 actually had with the new subclass, some form of "skill tree" if you can call it that?

Now that I'm so focused on charged with light and warmind cell mods, I'm not so concerned about what weapon-specific mods I have slotted. I just make sure to have the seasonal armor mods equipped. Also I equip weapons based on those mod combos, and for bounties. I used to think that was all too controlling from bungie. Now I feel the opposite and it is kinda relaxing to just go with the flow and not obsess over all these synergies.
-
Cuz it's unnecessary. Get D.I.M. if you want that.
-
4 RepliesThatd be cool. Have you tried Destiny Item Manager?
-
9 RepliesBecause = emotes. They could use the emote slots for that buuuuut.... you cannot make money off that. So yeah.
-
10 RepliesBecause apps like DiM and Ishtar have the same features. And just as shown with the bounty board in this app, if a app can do it they see no reason to do it whatsoever ingame And for anyone who wants to refer to what luke said about a bounty board think in Y5 then i shall refer to you that he said nothing about it being set in stone its gonna be ingame

and instantly lose all ammo would cool as well
-
Because Bungie doesn’t care about feedback, even if it’s easy to implement. They are too busy virtue-signaling & worrying about scams like lowering bright dust intake then pretend it’s for the benefit of the players when it’s clearly not or increasing armour sets’ price to 18k bright dust from 15k bright dust while simultaneously cutting the amount of bright obtained from weekly bounties without even lowering their requirements.
-
Because real QoL stuff is never on Bungie's list of things that should be implemented, especially when 3rd-party apps or websites are filling the void. It's why they don't put in a real way to get teammates (LFG sites do it for them), it's why they don't have a way to save loadouts (DIM does it for them), and it's why they still hide information about weapons (Light.gg shows the hidden values). They just don't care.
-
I think there is a feature like that on destiny item manager. I haven’t used it myself but my friend has told me about it
-
Because Bungle wants you to preorder in the hopes that just maybe next time.......it'll be better 😒🙄
-
14 RepliesDestiny Item Manager does it.
-
Because it’s not a priority
-
Cause they haven’t done it yet. Probably that.
-
When there 3rd parties who does it better than Bungie ever will, we won't see these things in game. Destiny is a game of screens, you need your phone DIM, little light, vault etc and tablet for YouTube videos of the things that the game doesn't tell you or direct you for and of course the TV for playing the actual game when you have time
-
And maybe some appearance load outs too. There could be 3 appearance and build load outs per character.
