Freelance Banner is a waste
For seasons and seasons and seasons people were complaining about running into teams in banner, begging and begging for a freelance option.
Well now you have it, why is it I'm matching entire teams of solo queues in regular banner. It makes zero sense. And whats dumbest of all, is I've been sent hate mail for being in a team... not being funny but the community really is full of morons.
Edit: I want to be clear, I'm not saying there shouldn't be a freelance option. I'm saying that there doesn't seem to be much point if people aren't gonna use it. I'd understand one or two solos, but an entire team of them? Its like they're hoping to luckily get matched on the same team as a stack.

4 RepliesSome people probably don't notice or don't care. Freelance worked great for me. No downside on matchmaking times or connection quality that was any worse than any other "normal" Iron Banner. Plenty of people in there.

I've been doing iron banner this week a lot, on all 3 characters. From my testing freelance, and with the broken psn friend list, no body was really running normal iron banner stacks other then maybe 2 or 3 clan members, and it felt about the same in difficulty.

Due to the deliberately small icon - an unadorned, fraction of the size of the huge normal IB option - some players miss it. Even in these forums this week some were asking for it unaware of it's existence. Others may have their own reasons for sticking with normal IB. Myself I will never again have to suffer IB normal when I am not in a (small) team. The biggest issue now is the idiotic removal of SBMM. There's no effective SBMM in play despite "prefers similar skill" complete bullocks. Perhaps there is vague "team but non-SBMM matching" but that is absolutely as unwanted as no options.

11 RepliesFreelance has been amazing. Most fun ive had in pvp in a while. They need to add more freelance modes. You probably played people who dont realize its an option. There are also some who are ok with the normal queue. Freelance is GOLD.
