All the other Titan subclasses have the shoulder charge set in a specific way that doesn’t waste it if you whiff. Stasis is easy to trigger while punching enemies and will send you flying off into nothing and wasting it. Why would you set this subclass differently in how you trigger the action as well as make it a hit or miss one shot use?

Shoulder charge has a roughly 6 meter lunge range, shiver strike has lunge based on how high you are and how long you hold the melee button. Logically, if you gave an ability you could lunge up to 20m per use no cooldown unless you hit a target, then titans would literally be breaking the game by covering around half a crucible map per every 2 button presses. It would be INSANELY broken as a movement ability if it didn't take your melee charge. Theres no real justifying why it SHOULDN'T take the charge other than maybe the garbage hit detection.

The stasis charge is more practical as a hunter dodge like ability. It has it's uses but the most apparent is a suicide in PvP. It deals way too low damage in PvE though. Haven't gotten any aspects or shards for it but the base feels really bad.

You just have to aim before connecting. It’s easy to use & the best shoulder charge imo
