To echo so many sentiments here, but to also let Bungie know, this cannot be an issue related strictly to folks' rigs and hardware power.
I am currently running an I9-9900k and RTX 3090. I was running this setup before BL during Shadowkeep. During that time, I was averaging around 110 fps in 4k. Occasionally, it'd dip to high 90s, but rarely to be honest.
Now, I'm lucky to stay above 100 at all, and many times, on most planets, I'm in the 80s. EDZ, Tangled Shore, and Dreaming City are the biggest culprits. And somehow, I see these framerate drops in the Crucible as well, regardless of map.
I'm not sure what's going on, but I know it's not my rig. Every other game I play is performing per the usual, so I'm unsure what happened when transitioning to Beyond Light, but...
..I would REALLY appreciate some acknowledgment from Bungie that this is being looked in to.
Thanks.
