For all of you who think that the Warlock nerf was justified...

Maybe we were a bit too powerful. But this is taking the piss. Can't wait to see what you're going to adjust next.

    • I can’t tell you how many times I’ve hit my Titan stasis melee, lunged at an enemy and stopped centimeters in front of them for them to freely finish me off. Your melee now requires a functioning prefrontal cortex. It’s not an easy button. You have to put forth a minimal amount of effort to judge a distance before pushing the button. I’m not seeing the problem...

        I can agree with you that the nerf was most definitely needed. However, to nerf it like they did may have been overkill. I think the range should have been the same but the freeze should have been nerfed. The warlock is a caster class so it would only make sense to have long range abilities. But people fail to understand that each class should get individual strengths. Giving warlock its range back makes total sense to me...

        • Shockingly you can get even closer than that and it still does absolutely nothing. Meanwhile my shuriken drops them dead, my hammer kills them ouright, my throwing knife one shots them. Because of the puny, halved range this is like a zero damage charged, range melee. You have to be so close, you're virtually in lunge range now. OP > Massively Under Powered (range).

            • That nerf was the only bad decision, lowering the melee freeze time would have been enough.

            • So glad I only ever use melee for quests that require it, but the Warlock Stasis melee sucks ass... Its completely useless if an enemy is close to you. Like seriously, how about instead of making it just a shooting attack, you change it so that when an enemy is too close to you then the warlock hits them with their staff instead of shoots...

                    Is that really the range? To me it looks more like that Dreg actually shot the projectile mid air and detonated it early, though it was likely coincidence. Same thing can happen with just about any explosive besides Rocket Launchers and Supers. That just doesn't seem like 16 in-game meters to me at all. I wish someone would just test this in a controlled environment like a Private Match and upload the footage.

                    • I agree that the range nerf seems a little over the top, but everything else seems fair and likely won’t make a difference all that often.

                    • The only thing I that was overkill was cutting the melee pretty much in half. They need to give it back some of its range or allow it to be case point blank. Its pretty common to be a little to close and just lunge into a normal melee or not quite close enough and you waste a charge.

Sorry your cheesy ass AOE win button melee got nerfed alongside the longest lasting roaming super in game that could also 1v1 any super in game easily.                         • It's a melee ability that travels straight. Specifically about this ability, it seems much more in line with other similar abilities such as handheld supernova.
